Chapter 5. Struck

I turned around and saw him motionless, "Jack?!" I screamed and raced over to him. I placed my head on his heart but barely heard a beat. "No...no no no....Jack please!" I covered my mouth with my hands and began bawling. I hugged him tightly in my arms, "What have I done....?" I cried harder. I saw blood on his hoodie, and I knew I had struck him. I placed my hand on his wound and noticed ice forming over the wound. "Jack please don't go....I need you...." I cried as I held his head in my hands and stroked the side of his cheek with my thumb. I glanced down at him and noticed his chest began to elevate, I knew he was breathing. "J...Jack...?" I whispered softly. Jack slowly opened his eyes and smiled a small smile at me as he gently dragged the back of his hand across the side of my face, "Hey Snowflake...." he moaned quietly. "Y...you're okay?!" I quickly exclaimed before hugging him again. "Jeez, I get knocked out then all of a sudden I get the most beautiful Snowflake in the world to care about me." Jack smirked. "Oh! I...umm, I...." I quickly stood up and fixed myself up a bit. I unbraided my hair and dragged my fingers through it. Jack, still on the floor, smiled, "You look beautiful." I smiled at him, "Thank you..." I felt myself starting to blush. Jack laughed quietly, "You're cute when I embarrass you." I laughed, "Oh shut up Jack." He smirked at me, "Care to make me be quiet?" I was quite surprised, but I sat next to Jack anyway, "How do you want me to make you be quiet?" "You could kiss me?" he smirked again and gently took my hand. I may have the powers of ice, but I got a warm chill down my spine. "You sure...? I mean we did just meet..." I asked. Jack just smiled, "I know, but I'm your guardian and have been with you though it all." "Like what?" "Well, let me think. When you and Anna built a snowman, when Anna lost her memory of you having powers, when you locked her out since you didn't want to hurt her, when your parents died, who you froze Arendelle, and so forth." he replied. "Wow...." I sat memorized by all that he had witnesses and I didn't even know he was there, "Why couldn't I see you?" I asked. "You didn't believe in me, and that's ok." Jack replied. Jack then placed his hand softly behind my head and slowly moved his nose closer to mine. I closed my eyes as I soon felt his breath on my face, it was as cold as ice, but I loved it. Our noses touched as his lips gently touched mine, he had kissed me.
