"Mom, now that I'm already graduate in College can I go into the City and work there?" I asked my Mom while fidgeting.
"Anak, alam mo naman na nakakatakot sa styudad diba? You experience it first hand." My mom said.
" But I want to work in the City po, I want to be independent. In my whole life you and dad are always spoiling me, so I can experience what reality is." I said
"Because anak you are so fragile, you know naman na may hika ma diba?" My mom said in a serious tone.
" I can handle naman mom, you want me to just lock my self in here? Pano ko maranasan ang pagiging independent?" I said and pout.
My mom sigh and nod in agreement.
" Okay, you already have my approval in working to the City, but you will told it to your dad later. Alam mo naman na overprotective yun sayo."
" Thank you Mommy!" I bimmed and rush to hug my mom.
"Kailan ang alis mo anak?" Sabi ni mommy pagkatapos bumitaw sa pag-yakap.
"I actually Mommy, it the day after tomorrow." I said in a nervous voice.
"Ang aga naman ata anak." Sabi ni mommy habang nakataas ang kilay.
"Sorry Mommy! My plane ticket is already ready." Sabi ko sabay bilang ni yakap si mommy.
My mom sigh. I know pinipilit lang niya huwag magalit sa akin. Sino ba naman nagpapalaam ng naka plano na ang pagalis?
"So even if di ako o kami pumayag aalis kala din?" Sabi ni Mommy na nakapamaywang na.
I know galit na yan, if ganyan na ang kilos niya.
"Sorry Mommy, I know naman kasi na mapapayag ko kayo." I said and giggled.
Tiningnan ako nito at sabay hinalikan sa noo.
"I love you baby!"
"I love you too, Mommy!" I said to my mom and kiss her cheeks.
Bumitaw ako sa yakap.
" Mom, I will just prepare my things. "
" Sige baby. " My mom said with a smile.
I run up stairs.
" BABY, CAREFUL! DON'T RUN UP STAIRS! " My mom shouted.
I just smiled. My mom is really overprotective too.
I entered my room. Get my traveling bag and put my clothes and other things.
Nang matapos ako ay umupo ako sa kama at nagisip. I don't know if papayag si Dad sa pag-alis ko but I'll do my best. Humiga ako sa kama at di ko namalayang nakatulog ako.
Tok! Tok!
Naalimpungatan ako dahil sa ingay. I get up in bed with a pout.
Then bumukas ang pinto at lumabas si Nana. Nana she's my Yaya.
"Nana! Why po? My problem ba?" I said and pouted.
Tumawa si Nana sabay sabi. " Anong oras na oh, hapon na magtatanghalian na anak." Sabi nito sabay ngiti. "Mag ayos ka na diyan at bumaba na."
"Okay Nana, just a minute." Sabi ko sabay punta sa banyo para mag CR.
PUMUNTA na ako sa baba at nakita ko agad si Dad sa hapag kainan, lumapit ako sabay halik sa pisngi niya.
" Kumain ka na Doll" Sabi ni Daddy.
My dad always calling me Doll because he said that I look like one. I didn't argue na lang kasi I find it cute.
We eat in Silence. Dad is really strict, lalo kapag nasa hapag kainan kami.
When we already done eating, I just remembered that I need to tell him that I'm planning to worked in the City.
"Dad!" I said and hug him.
"Oh? May kailangan ka ano." Dad really knows me. Naglalambing kasi ako if I needed something.
"Dad, can I work in the City?" I said and crossed my finger.
Sumama ang mukha nito. " You want to work in the City? You know how dangerous it is for you to work there without us." Sabi nito sa seryosong boses.
"Dad, I already have Mom's Approval." Sabi na sabay ngiti.
Lalong sumeryoso si Daddy.
"Hon?" Patanong nito kay Mommy.
Ngumiti lang ito kay Mommy sabay kindat.
"We have our own company. So why worked in the City?" Sabi pa din ni Daddy sa seryosong boses.
"I want to be independent Dad, all of my life I been homeschooled. I don't have friends and I have a lot of things that I don't know." I said in a sad tone.
" Muntik ka na sa aming mawala anak, kaya ganun na lang ang mag-aalala namin sayo. "
" I know that, dahil yun sa hika ko. Pero I'm already okay. Nangyari lang yun dahil na bully ako and I can't stop crying that time a lost my breath." I said
" Pero naging dahilan yun para ma hospital ka and we can't see you in that state anak." My Daddy said in a worried tone.
"I know that Dad, but I'm already an adult. I can handle my self. I said and smiled.
My dad sighed and defeat.
" Okay, I will give my approval to you but I do have a condition. " He said and raised his brow.
" Okay Dad! But no bodyguards" I said and pout.
"Well, kailangan mo lang naman isama si Butler Kim. " He said and grin.
Napasinghap ako. Hindi ko gusto na kasama si Butler Kim, kahit na ka-edad ko pa ito at kababata. He is to serious and cold.
I pouted " as if I have a choice" I said.
" I just want you to be safe and being with Butler Kim means you are safe. " He said and smiled.
" I know that, you trusted Rios so much. " I said.
I called our butler Rios, because even though ayaw ko siya kasama kababata ko pa din siya at siya lang din ang naging kalaro ko nong bata pa ako.
" I'll just informed Butler Kim about this." He said and kiss my head.
"BAKIT ba ang bagal mo Rios ha?" I said and pouted. " Ma- late na tayo sa flight natin"
"Why would i not be slow? Huh? Eh sa Ang daming mong dala." Sabi nito at tumaas ang kilay.
I stop on my track " Rios, naman babae
kasi ako kaya." I said and giggled.
" I know that. " Sabi lang nito at magpatuloy sa pag lalakad.
" SUNGIT" I stick my tongue out.
Naisip ko kung saan kami pupunta. It actually in the City of Elenore. Ito ang pinakamalaking City sa Pilipinas, and I can't wait to see the whole City.
