There are people who say that the new ones are relatives of Polo, Polo for those who do not know it was a character from the previous 3 seasons, that character killed Marina (the dead woman from season 1).
Marina was a rich girl who was not like her family, Marina has a brother named Guzmán who is a rich boy and he used to hate the poor boys.
Well returning to the main topic, Polo killed Marina (accidentally) and his ex-girlfriend Carla helped him hide the secret and the police put another person in jail (Nano), Nano was a "poor" boy and Marina's boyfriend, she was pregnant when she died.
2 season later Lu kills Polo, and Polo's mothers tell the police that before he died Polo confessed to them that he was the real murderer, finally Guzmán forgave him.
