The end of the season 3 of Élite and the arrival of the new students created many theories, one of these theories is that the new characters are related to Polo and they want revenge on the oldest students paying tribute to Polo.
I think this theorie is fake because the new's surnames are differents to Polo's surnames, Polo's name was Leopoldo Benavent Villada. But the surnames of the new ones are Blanco Commerford (Mencía, Ari and Patrick) and the other guy is a prince named Phillipe Florian Von Triesenberg.
Polo's mothers didn't want to reopen the case because Polo was already dead and because many people had suffered because of Marina's death.
And i don't understand why they were going to take revenge, because according to the police Polo committed suicide, anyway the person who killed Polo is in New York (Lu) and his mothers think that he committed suicide.
So i don't think the new students are close to Polo's family.
