One Last Time

Chapter 5

Krissy and mum went home today, mum said that it was getting harder for her to see me this way. I thought it was bullshit that she left her sick daughter here.

Me and Caleb have gotten closer. We have little meet ups in the hospital all the time, even though our nurses yell at us after. Caleb is really sweet and is always there for me when I need someone. In the short amount of time that I've known him, i feel like I've known him forever.

We were meeting up in about 20 minutes so I brushed my hair out with my hands since I still don't have a brush here (note that I am very annoyed with that). As I was walking down the halls of the hospital, I got more and more excited to see Caleb again.

I have developed a small crush on him but it's nothing big. I mean, he's hot and extremely sweet so yeah.

As I was approaching the place where I was suppose to meet Caleb I saw him talking to a guy and I was curious as to who the guy was. Caleb hugged him and then the guy left and Caleb saw me and walked over to me.

"Hey beautiful! How are you?" He says walking over to me.

"Hey Caleb! Who was that guy?" I asked blushing as he did call me beautiful.

"That was my brother actually." He said half smiling.

"Aw that's great! I wish I could have met him." I said smiling at Caleb. There was something off about Caleb today. He seemed to tence up a bit when I mentioned his brother. Maybe they don't have the best relationship ever? I don't know, maybe I'll ask him about it later.

"So what are the plans for today?" I asked jumping up and down, while holding on to his arm.

"Well actually, I'm being let go today. I can leave whenever." He said looking at the ground. It kinda sucked he was leaving I mean, I wanted to spend more time with him. He was my only friend in a while.

"Don't look upset beautiful, just because I'm allowed to leave doesn't mean I'm not going to come and see you!" He said smiling and hugging me.

I smiled and blushed and said "don't leave me ok? You are all I have left." I didn't realize how clingy it really sounded but oh well.

"Wouldn't leave you for the world" he said kissing me on the forehead.

"So what can we do before you leave?" I asked. I wanted to spend a little more time with him.

"Let's go to the top floor" he said smiling and grabbing my hand and pulling me through the corridors.

"What's on the top floor?" I asked as I was being dragged still.

"You will see!" He said still pulling us. As we kept running, we got yelled at by so many nurses and even chased by a few.

We were not going to stop though, he was leaving soon. It's the last time we can have fun together until he comes to visit me. And who knows when that will be?

No one likes to visit me and I wouldn't blame him if he didn't come back for me.
