The two of them had finished thier food hours ago. However, they still sat out on the porch talking while Shi's radio played.
"I take it your done with these other drinks right?"
"Oh, yes I am"
"Okay, I'll be right back I'm just going to take these back inside"
Nieru sat peacefully before she could feel someone's gaze burning into her back. She turned around to see Ai and Rika looking at her.
"Hi" Ai said
"Sup" Rika added
"*sigh*...hello" Nieru reluctantly replied
"Where's your boyfriend?" Rika asked,
"He's inside"
Shi comes out to see the 3 of them chatting.
"Oh, you invited them I take it?" Shi asks her
"No, I didn't"
Shi assessed the situation at hand.
"Nieru come here", Nieru came up to him
"Are you okay with them here, Nieru?"
"Can I stay a while longer after they leave"
"My house is open to any of you guys of course"
"Okay, I'm fine with them here then"
The two of them turned around,
"Okay girls make yourselves at home, I'll get the fire table started for us" Shi starts hooking up his firetable for them to act like a bonfire.
The girls watched him start it. The igniter clicked before beautiful clean burning flames came up through the blue glass rocks.
Ai nudged Nieru's shoulder, "Go sit next to him..."
Nieru nodded and moved over to him.
"What do you think. Is it nice?" Shi asked her.
"Mmhm" She nodded,
From behind Rika and Ai took pictures with thier phones. Nieru leaned against Shi, only thier dark silhouettes visible infront of the orange flame.
"Awww look at you two!" Rika teased,
Nieru was irritated before she looked up to see Shi, his face was a little red and small grin had grown on his face. Nieru thought about her decision before she bit the bullet.
She tilted her head up and kissed him on the cheek. The two of them got really red as the two girls behind them freaked out silently together.
"This is the best night I've had in a while," Shi says as he leans into Nieru.
"I can say the same" Nieru replies to him.
Sorry this chapter is smaller. I've just been getting busy, I've got tests and essays and all sorts of shit out the wazoo and by the end of the day I don't have the will to write and usually when I write I have the framework and major events for the story already though up but I haven't had room to think. So I'm sorry that all you get is like 370 words but that's just the way it is for now. Thank you for reading
