Backstory: Despite everything, she’s fine… just fine. She is able to easily hide everything with that fun bright facade of hers. She is always upbeat and spunky, though there was a time where it all came crashing down. Her mother died to her father. She witnessed it all. All of it. Her father yelling at her mom, the screams and cries of agony. The poor child was utterly terrified at the ripe age of 7. Where her life was like rainbows. Her first instinct was to run with her mothers phone, run and never return. She couldn’t stay there looking at her mothers open eyes full of fear, her mother was exhausted and beaten to death. She would never know her fathers morals behind the actions. She called up her Aunt on her mothers phone, and she lived with her Aunt Cindy ever since. Her aunt helped her through the trauma. Got her a therapist, kept her homeschools. Her Aunt sheltered her from everything. Eventually she got her spunk back, with her Aunts tender love and care. She became happy and energetic. She did everything with her aunt, they would go shopping together, getting matching bracelets, they even dyed their hair red together. They were attached at the hip. Until her Aunt thought it would be a good idea to send her off to a summer camp. Get her to socialize with other people. Ruby refused, she had a horrible anxiety of other people. Then the day came where she had to go to camp. Everything was scary to her. That's when she met Chris, her savior. Chris took Ruby under her wing like her own child. Granted that they were only a year apart. They happened to be cabin mates and Chris taught her the ropes of the place and helped ease the girl's anxiety. Ever since that summer Ruby has been begging to go back to that camp. Just to meet Chris and see her again. It has been 3 years since then.
