Hope woke up under the shade of a magnificent oak tree, the wind blew smoothly against its branches. The rustling leaves makes a calm and relaxing sound. She slowly sat up looking around noticing an open field full of flowers of every color possible.

Hope noticed a blue butterfly flying around her, she extended her hand out and patiently waited for it to land on her index finger.

She didn't remember how she got there, all she can recall is Josie's eyes.

"My my, whom do I have the pleasure to see in this beautiful spring day"
Hope quickly got up as soon as she heard her father's voice

"Dad?" Hope said, just above a whisper
"Indeed my littlest wolf" said Klaus as he stepped closer to Hope.

Klaus let out a giggle opening his arms.

"I thought- I thought I'd never see you again" Hope said as she runs to her father giving him a hug, she felt happy, she felt relieved.

"My daughter it is not your time yet, I swear whomever hurt you shall feel my wrath. But for now let's enjoy this moment" said Klaus with his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Back in Josie's Room

"Dad" Josie said while she fell on her knees still holding Hope close.

"Lizzie siphon the magic off the barrier" Alaric said.

Lizzie did what she was told and quickly ran to hold Josie close. Alaric did the same.

"Josie tell me what happened please" Alaric said while holding the twins close.

"D..dad he hurt her.. an..and she won't wake up- please help me" Josie said as she collapsed on her dad's shoulder, keeping Hope close to her.

Alaric got up and so did Lizzie.

"Dad why does Hope look like that..that's not normal" said Lizzie while looking down at Hope.

"I- I dont know what's wrong. We need to take those arrows out as fast as possible. Lizzie go call Mg to come help us take Hope to the hospital wing, fast Lizzie go." Alaric said while gently separating Hope and Josie.

Lizzie nodded and ran out the room as fast as she could.

"No- no don't take her a-away from m-me" said Josie with her voice just above a whisper. She was unconscious with tears running down her cheeks.

"I promise I'll fix this Josie" Alaric said while laying Josie on her bed while moving her boxes, and suitcases out of the way.

He looked at Hope with shock in his eyes "what the hell happened..."

Mg ran inside the room and almost tripped once he saw Hope laying on the floor with the arrows still in her.

"Dr. Saltzman what happened to her.."

"I dont know- all what Josie said is that someone hurt Hope- right now we need to take her to the hospital wing fast, we have no time to waste"

With that said Mg picked up Hope and vamped away.

Alaric walked back to Josie and kneeled down next to her.
" I can't promise everything will be okay, but I will do my best to help Hope." Alaric said and leaned over Josie and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

Alaric ran out of the room calling Freya.
