Chapter 3

{Monday}
I wake up and start getting ready for school. I out on a cute outfit and do my hair (Above). I brush my teeth and then do my makeup. Ryan gets done getting
ready and we both go get in Ryan's car.

We pull up to school. "You're air looks really cool braided," I say to Ryan.

"Thanks," she says as we get out the car.

We walk through the school doors. We walk out to the courtyard in our usual spot.

"Hey," I say to Sammy and the Jacks. Then Taylor walks up.

"Oh Taylor decided to come," Gilinsky says.

"I've been busy," Taylor says.

"Sure," I say and the bell rings.

I walk into first hour. I sit in the back and look down at my phone I'm hiding between my legs.

"Class this is Hayes Grier he's our new student," my teacher says. I look up to the guy I was dancing with Friday night. I text Ryan who's in the class next to me that we have a new kid. She's probably not going to answer because she's most likely sleeping.

"Umm Hayes you can go sit in front of Blakelynn," Ms. Sways says as I shoot a look to Sammy.

"I got you," he says.

"Ms. Sways it's Blake," he says and I laugh at him.

"Whatever Blake," she says as Hayes sits in front of me.

"Umm Hayes honey no hats in the building please take it off," Ms. Sways says.

"I think I'll keep it on but thanks," he says. My eyes widen in shock as Ms. Sways just looks at him shocked too.

I look down at my phone and see Ryan texted me back.

{Phone Convo}
Ryan- Really is he cute.

Me- Yea and get this we were dancing together at the party.

Ryan- Ooh get it.

Me- Sure I gtg.

Ryan- Kk bye.

I look up at the board as the teacher writes notes on the board. The bell rings and I pick up my bag and walk out. I stand at my locker a and put my science book up and get my language arts book out.

I hear someone lean on the locker behind me. I turn around to Hayes.

"Yes," I say shutting my locker.

"Oh nothing just saying hey," he says.

"Hey and I need to get to class before I'm late I say walking beside him bumping his shoulder. Gosh he's cute. I feel his eyes burning the back of my neck. I walk into my next class and sit in my usual seat.

{3rd Hour}

The bell rings for lunch. I walk to the lunch room and Ryan meets me where she usually does. We get in line to get our food and we sit across from each other. I look down at my tray and pick up a French fry. I look up to Sammy and Hayes coming to sits by us.Hayes sits beside me as Sammy sits beside Ryan.

"Hey," Sammy says.

"Hey," I say and look over at Hayes. I pick up another French fry and bite it. I look across to Ryan and she smiles at me as I roll my eyes at her.

"Here," Hayes says handing me his phone.

"What's this for," I ask him.

"I want your number," Hayes says.

"And you think I'm going to give it to you," I say.

"Yes," he says. I roll my eyes and type my number in.

"See," he says and sucks his phone back in his pocket.

I roll my eyes and stand up and throw my food away. I walk out to the quart yard. I go and sit down beside Ryan.

{End of Day}
I walk out from school and stand by Ryan's car and wait for her to walk out.

"Hey," Hayes says as him and Sammy walk up together.

"What do you assholes want," I ask.

"Rude we just wanted to ask if we could come hang," Sammy says.

"Fine but your getting in the back," I say and Ryan walks out. We all get in and drive to Ryan's house. I walk in and lay on the couch.

"So what do you guys want to do," Ryan asks.

"Truth or dare," Sammy says.

"Why...why always that game no we can't we just play a damn board game every once in a while," I say.

"Umm...no," Sammy says. We all go sit at the table and Sammy goes first.

"Ryan I dare you to go mustard out of a cup," Sammy says.

"Eww I hate mustard," she says.

"I know," he says laughing as he's filling a cup with mustard and puts a spoon in it and hands it to Ryan. She eats it gagging most of the time.

"Alright my turn," Ryan says.

"Blake...go in the upstairs with Hayes for ten minutes," she says.

"That's a stupid dare," I say.

"Well then if it's stupid it should be easy now do it," she says.

I roll my eyes and walk upstairs as Hayes follows. I walk to the closet and feel something crowding on my leg. I look down to a big ass spider crawling up my leg.

"AHH HOLY SHIT," I scream slapping my leg and falling to the floor.

"Whoa are you okay," Hayes asks bending down to check on me.

"Uhh yeah I'm fine just a spider," I say standing up. I open the door and I walk in with Hayes following and shutting the door. I sit down and Hayes does the same. It's so dark in here. I move my hand and it touches Hayes's I pull it away.

"My you know your beautiful right," Hayes says.

"What makes you say that," I say.

"You just are," he says grabbing my face. He leans towards me and I do the same. He pulls me into a kiss.
