Lichita had recently gave birth to Asta, and decided not to leave him. She was about to put Asta in a basket and drop him off at Hage but, she noticed she wasn't sucking his childs Life and Magic, so she let him stay by her side.

As she was walking around to get firewood, she saw a little devil that was on the floor, in the verge of dying. She quickly carried him back home as he layed him down on the couch, treating his injuries.

The devil woke up after an hour as Lichita had Asta in her arms. "Oh, you're awake!" Said Lichita smiling as Asta looked at the devil, making the devil stare back.

Baby Asta laughed smiling looking at the devil as the devil was confused. "I found you laying on the ground on the floor, so I picked you up!" Said Lichita as she placed Asta beside the devil.

"My magic, I can seal things as long as it lacks mana!" Said Lichita as she grabbed a small bottle, firewood sticks popped out.

"And I can suck away mana and life, but you and my child Asta over there," she pointed the child beside the devil, "Has no mana so,"

"Don't you think it's fate?!" Said Lichita smiling as Asta laughed.

"Be my other son, you can be Asta's brother!" Said Lichita smiling as Asta looked at the devil. "B.." Lichita made an awe face, to see his childs first word.

"big brother!" Said Asta smiling as Lichita looked at awe. "What's your name?" Said Lichita to the devil.

"Name?"

"Even you don't have a name? I'll pick one, uh.." said Lichita making a thinking pose. "How about Liebe!" Said Lichita smiling at 'Liebe', the newly named devil.

"From now on, you are Liebe!" Said Lichita smiling.

"Wiebe!" Said Asta smiling and laughing as the devil and Lichita laughed.

The three did many things together for 4 years, building a snow-man, Asta's first walk, and Asta and Liebe playing tag and fishing.

The three were on top of a hill, as Lichita turned to her 2 children, making a speech.

"Liebe, Asta, I love you guys. You guys made my living alone life really happy and not alone! I love you both as my children, even if you're not blood related to me, Liebe." Said Lichita looking at Liebe.

"Just because you're a devil, doesn't mean you're a bad guy,

Because, You're not a bad guy!" Said Lichita and Asta in unison as the three laughed, however..

Happiness does not last forever.

Liebe suddenly yelped in pain screaming, holding his head.

"Liebe!" Both yelled Asta and Lichita.

"I.. I..

I am Lucifero!" Said Liebe— or perhaps the devil controlling him, Lucifero.

'Lucifero, one of the high-ranking devils?!' Thought Liebe.

"Hah, what a find! I will use this low-ranking to find my own body in the human world and—"

"Get out of my sons body!" Yelled Lichita angrily as Asta was scared.

"Hah? What could a merely human like you do?!" Yelled Lucifero, as Lichita hugged Liebe's body. "You get out of my sons body right now!" Yelled the mother.

"What?!—"

'Shes taking away my mana!' Thought Lucifero furiously, as he stabbed her.

"M-Mom.." murmured Asta, scared in the present events.

'Damnit, oh well, I can mess around with another low-rank devil anyway, and get myself a body!' Thought Lucifero, going away.

Asta passed out, falling to the ground as Lichita held out the five-leaf grimoire.

"I'm so sorry, I couldn't be a good mother.." said Lichita as Liebe was in the verge of tears.

"I'm gonna seal you in this grimoire, and use a technique i've used once so that you and Asta can communicate in your heads.." said Lichita smiling looking at Liebe.

"Live okay? My dear.. sons." Before Liebe was sealed in the grimoire, Liebe said, "Mom!..".

Lichita had so little strength left. She carried Asta placing the grimoire on Asta's stomach, putting his arms around it to signal it is his, as she dropped Asta of at a nearby household.

She knocked as she went behind a tree incase there was a person, and someone answered the door.

"Huh?"
