"Where—-where am I?" In my head I kept telling myself, not to let my eyes adjust. Don't let your eyes adjust Val. There's nothing to be afraid of.

"You should be afraid. Who ever said, things you cannot see, cannot kill you? You shouldn't be so naive child."
A soothing voice echoed through the darkness, and a chill went down my spine. I don't ever think about anything harming me, I just thought about the fear of seeing something unbelievable. A white glowing silhouette walked my way, swaying its hips and long pointed horns upon its head. A beam of sweat was sliding down my chest.
"Oh come on, is this even real?" I began to blink my eyes as hard as I can, hoping it'll disappear. After the sixth blink...it was gone. However, a cold touch refined my body.
Then a whisper drew through my left ear, "There is such thing as mystical creatures. Things you may not understand. Maybe, you shouldn't reside in our home and learn about who we are, where you are." The silhouette then circled to the front of me, it was then, I seen the face of a beautiful woman. She smiled at me and caressed my face.

"I—-I just nee—needed a new home. My previous home—-it was destroyed. I was just looking for a—a new start." I said with a shaky tone.

"Did you truly find what you were looking for? Because maybe you're in the wrong place. If you're THIS shaken up, you don't see anything wrong?"

I looked down at my hands, and my eyes began to wander. Like, she was truly making me second guess my decisions.
No way!
I shook my head, there's no way I made the wrong decision, this was the best way to find change for me. I deserved to find a better life. Where I'm from they didn't care about any of us, as humans. Humans destroy humans. There's is no love within the human race. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been pushed out of my home. At least, that's what I believe.

"What would you know? I've been through hell and I traveled this far, to find peace! However, you disturbed me in MY home. If you have anything to do with that talking fox! I've never felt like I belonged until I formed my spirit unto this forest."

She laughed at my response and called out for someone named Dran.

The fox.

The fox walked in from the shadows, and sat beside the glowing beauty. They looked at me with such smug looks on their faces. Such judgement, something I'm used to.

"We ARE the forest. We are bound to this place. A beautiful place that so many humans like to take shelter and destroy. However, you are no better. For you to think this place is all yours, is a joke. You're, a joke." She flayed her hair away from her face and turned away from me.

"You humans, are undeserving."
