"Well, well, well, look who it is!" He sneers.
"Just give my book back." I say, reaching for the art pad.
"And why would I do that, /Josie/?" He emphasizes my name, trying to irritate me.
"Matt just leave me alone!" I say, frustrated. We've know each other since kindergarten and he has always been a jerk. I cannot believe he's here. I snatch the book out of his hands, still trying to process this.
"You're feisty now, huh?" He laughs.
"Just leave me alone" I say, sitting back down. He walks away, smirking at how he can get such a reaction from me. I can't believe I let him do this to me for so many years.
"Who was that?" Logan turns to me.
"His name is Matt..." I sigh "He's bullied me since kindergarten." I said quickly, not wanting Logan to hear. He lets out a deep breath.
"Wow... He seems like a jerk."
"Yep." I turn away from the conversation. I don't like it when people pity me. The teacher finally walks in and begins writing his name on the board. I guess Mr. Simmons is the English teacher. That's one thing I can trust in this goddamned school.
