"Okay guys, don't forget about the picnic tomorrow." Your home teacher, Mr.Choi says before heading out of the classroom.
A heavy sigh leaves your mouth as you look around the classroom for the last time now. A lot of memories filling your mind as you're not a highschool student anymore.
The laughter, friends, teachers, bullies, lunch breaks, fights, gossips, jokes, arguments are all going to be a part of the memories you made.
It made you happy and sad at the same time, a bittersweet moment.
"Y/n what the hell? We've been calling you for the last five minutes!" Your best friend, Aera giggles.
"Oh sorry, what were you guys saying?" You smile while packing your stuff.
"We were thinking of wearing matching outfits for the picnic tomorrow. What do you say?" Yuna, your friend says.
"That's cool." You reply, getting out of the classroom with your two best friends .
Your gaze starts roaming around the school hallways, head again filling up with several good and bad memories. You know you're going to miss this place, for sure.
In a matter of minutes you were standing near the school's entrance gate, lost in your own thoughts while your best friends were lost in a conversation probably unaware of the fact that you were not listening, when your eyes spotted something.....
Or someone.
A hint of regret washes over you as you look at the pale skinned boy playing basketball with his friends, probably trying to make more memories on the last day of school.
His uniform wet with his sweat as he tried to put the ball into the basket and succeeded, flashing his rare but cute gummy smile he high fives his friends. He looked adorably short with his tall friends even though he himself was tall.
You always considered yourself stupid for not making a move but you had a reason.
You didn't want to be called one of his "fangirls" whom he never paid any attention to.
He has that quiet and mysterious aura that you usually read in novels, it was the reason why you felt so attracted towards him. No one other than his closest friends knows what really goes on in his head and you never tried to get deep into his life but kept crushing on him since freshman year.
Only if you made a move, who knows you both would've been a thing right now but it's too late to think about it now, you've definitely lost the chance.
A sudden nudge on your shoulder startles you and pulls you out of your regretful thoughts.
"What's wrong Y/n?" Yuna worriedly furrows her eyebrows.
"Nothing, so what did you guys plan to wear tomorrow?" You change the question and take a last look at the basketball court just to see him hugging his friends.
"Y/n, I always told you to make a move before it's too late but you didn't. Now there's no benefit in regretting your decisions." Aera says making you look at her in confusion.
"What are you even talking about?" You now ask her.
"Your feelings about Min Yoongi."
Did they catch me staring at him? Embarrassing...
"Wha-" You start but get cut.
"We saw you staring at him Y/n. We are your friends and we've been knowing about your feelings since the start. I don't know why you never confessed to him when you've been literally crushing over him throughout your highschool years. I know it's hard to accept that it's too late now but you shouldn't regret it now. Just let him go." Yuna hugs you and pats your back.
It's easier to say Yuna.
But deep down you know, she's right.
You know, it's too late now.
You know, it's time to move on and you know that you should let him go and make him a part of your memories now.
Memories that gave you a lesson to take your shot and not to wait for the perfect time.

"Woah that was tiring" you sigh, coming out of the bus that took you to the amusement park, your picnic destination.
"That was just a thirty minutes long drive." Aera giggles at your dramatic behavior.
You wanted to say something sarcastic but the voice of your home teacher stops you from doing that.
"Since we have reached the destination, you guys can enjoy your time with whoever and however you want, we'll meet here at 4pm. Don't get hurt or lost and in case of any trouble, contact me or the teachers that are here with us." With this, the small crowd disperses
Your eyes unintentionally start looking for a certain someone but you only get disappointed when you can't find him around you.
Yeah you stupid, you decided to move on!
You remind yourself and slightly shake your head to get him out of your thoughts and decide to enjoy the limited time with Aera and Yuna, who knows when you guys will meet after parting your ways today......

"I'm never going on a roller coaster again!" Yuna exclaims while stumbling out of the ride that she found terribly scary. You and Aera hold her hands, giggling at her.
"Let's sit there and eat something before we get back to the bus." Aera points towards an empty bench and you nod.
It's already 3:30pm. It's funny how time flies when you are happy. The fact that soon you'll have to say goodbye to these two stupid girls saddens you.
Who knows if you'll ever find friends like them....
The three of you sit at the benches after buying burgers and soft drinks from the nearby food stall, your friends digging into the mouthwatering meal as soon as they sit while you smile looking at them, not really feeling like eating.
Your gaze shifts here and there, looking at different groups of people having fun, most of them were groups of friends who came to enjoy their Sunday. The crowd had many familiar faces of your now ex-classmates too.
However you weren't expecting to catch Yoongi in the crowd, with his friends. Seems like they just got off the roller coaster and you wonder how he managed to be quiet on the ride because as far as you know, he's scared of heights.
"Y/nnie, why are you not eating?" Yuna shakes you to get your attention.
"I was just looking around" You sigh, stealing a glance at Yoongi before turning back to your friends, feeling a little regretful again.
"Well, you know we know why you were looking around." Aera teasingly says, making you laugh. Both of them really know you in and out.
"I'm not going to argue over that." You take a sip of your cola flavoured drink.
"You know what, I have a challenge for you." She says and Yuna looks at you with a puzzled expression, mirroring your own thoughts.
"What?" You raise an eyebrow at your best friend.
"When this trip ends, you will have to tell the basketball boy about your feelings, not for dating and making him your boyfriend but to just let your feelings out. So that you can feel free. So are you in or not?" She asks and you go into deep thinking mode after listening to her.
"Okay, I will." You smile at her, accepting her 'challenge'.
