The Second Kagami (Kuroko no Basket/Basuke)

Chapter Four - Kaijo

Riko:

'Oh My Gosh!! Where are Sora-chan and Kagami-kun!!? They're so late!'

Sora:

I looked down at the sleeping Taiga-nii. I poked him one last time before deciding to use my last resort. "WAKE UP TAIGA-NII! COACH IS GOING TO KILL US!" With that Taiga-nii shot out of bed and immediately grabbed his things and started getting ready. I sighed once again and waited patiently at the door.

Punch.

That was what happen to Taiga-nii and me when we had arrive. "Don't ever be late again." She scolded with her intimidating voice. I noticed Kuroko-kun staring at the me and smiled at him. Skipping my way over to him I waved. "Hi Kuroko-kun!" I greeted warmly with a bright smile on my face. "Hello Sora-san." He greeted back in his normal blunt tone. "San? I would prefer chan but do as you will." I smiled before walking off to Taiga-nii who was in the front of the group.

3rd person:

The Seirin Basketball team walked towards the Kaijo gym. Hyuga had comment on the size of the building, saying that this school put way more effort into their sport clubs that in his own school Seirin. "Kagami-kun, your eyes look worse than normal..." Kuroko commented when he noticed the dark bags under his lights eyes. "Shut up. I was too excited last night so I couldn't fall asleep." Kagami grumbled glaring at his shadow. Sora giggled at the two's exchange and looked up at her older brothers eyes, she broke down laughing a few seconds after. "Taiga-nii, you look horrible." She giggled covering her mouth with her palm. "I agree." Kuroko agreed nodding at Sora.

Kise jogged over towards the Seirin Basketball Team. "Hey guys! Since this place is so big, I've decided to show you guys the way." He grinned. Seirin's coach, Riko looked at him thinking and then agreed to his offer. The group started walking with Kise in front directing them. Kise looked over to Kuroko who happen to be standing next to the Kagami's of the team. "Kurokocchi! Ever since you turned me down, I cried myself to sleep every night!" He exclaimed emphasising the word cried.

"Ryo-chan, you're so childish." Sora commented catching Kise off guard. Kise turned his head in her direction and squealed her name making Sora laugh at him. Kise had lead up to the door to the gym and we all stopped in front of it. Kise swung open the doors and walked in with the Seirin team trailing behind him.

Riko's eyes skimmed over the court and widened when she noticed something. "We're playing half court?" She shouted out loud. From her shout everyone turned their heads to face her. As she calmed down those already on court continued what they were doing beforehand. The coach of the Kaijo team approached the coach of the Seirin team.

"Aah, you''re here, nice to meet you. We'll be playing half court, but I doubt you mind. I am right?" Kaijo's coach Takeuchi asked. Riko kept her calm and gave the Kaijo coach a fake smile. "It's nice to meet you too but can I ask why we're playing half court?" She asked gritting her teeth keeping her angry inside.

"It's just as it looks. As you see, today's game is just a warm up. I don't see anyone in the Kaijo team that would be able to learn something from such an easy game, you know. I say it's a warm up but we're still playing with the majority of our regular members. So please don't cry when we tripe your points."

Everyone in the Seirin team had felt insulted and were all equally angry so much so that their vein showed on their forehead. 'They're just making fun of us.' Kagami thought to himself obviously pissed and angry.

Kise was putting on his uniform but was stopped by his coach. "Kise, why are you putting on your uniform? You're not playing today." He said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "EHHH!" "You're on a complete different level to them." Coach Takeuchi said mocking the Seirin team.
