The Second Kagami (Kuroko no Basket/Basuke)

Chapter Five - Results

Taiga:

"SORAAA!" I yelled catching her body as it fell. I carried Sora over to the bench and laid her down on Coach's lap. I watched as Coach bandaged Sora's head. "It-it's my fault, she pushed me out of the way..." Kuroko said shaking. "Don't worry bout it Kuroko." I reassured and pat him on his head.

Suddenly I felt a switch inside me click and I'm filled with anger. I looked around the court and my eyes land on a blond's head.

'He is so dead.' I walked over to Kise and started glaring at him. He noticed me and looked up at me. His face showed that he was scared and kind of shocked.

I was about to hold Kise by his collar but something hit my knees. I looked back and saw Kuroko with his knees bent. "What did you do that for!?" I asked him.

"Sora-chan would yell at you if she was conscious." He replied blankly. I stared at him for a few seconds and realised that he's right so I turned back and started walking to the bench.

"I'm sorry Kagami-kun. I-I didn't mean to hurt Sora-chan, it was an accident." Kise stuttered. I looked back at him and said: "If we weren't playing basketball, I bash the shit out of you. But since we're playing basketball, I'll just have to beat you in that."

I walked back to bench and looked down at Sora's innocent face. 'You didn't deserve this, but don't worry. I'll beat Kise for you.' I kissed Sora on the forehead before going back to the court to continue the game.

3rd person:

Izuki had the ball and passed the ball to Hyuga who was currently in clutch mode. Hyuga jumped up and shot a three. Kagami was marking Kise. Hyuga got the ball once again and shot another three pointer. The score is now 70 Seirin, 74 Kaijo.

Riko started to think about something then mumbled: "Everyone is distracted due to Sora-chan's injury.." Riko noticed something move on her knees and looked down to see that Sora had woken up. Sora sat up and rubbed her eyes then blinking, she took off her hair tie and looked over to the court. "GO MINNA!" Sora exclaimed loudly.

Sora:

"GO MINNA!"

The Seirin Basketball team looked over at me and one by one they all smirked excluding Kuroko-kun because he smiled instead.

Izuki-kun got the ball and passed it to Kuroko-kun. Kuroko-kun passed the ball to Nii-chan and Nii-chan passed the ball to Captain, who shot a three making the scores 82 Seirin, 82 Kaijo.

'Yes! Tied.' I looked over at Kise-kun and noticed that his aura had changed. 'Shit.. He's serious now.'

Kise-kun stole the ball from Kuroko-kun and dribbled off to Nii-chan's direction. Kuroko-kun tried to steal the ball from behind Kise-kun but failed as Kise-kun bounced the ball into the other hand shocking both Kuroko-kun and Nii-chan.

Kise-kun dribbled past Nii-chan and slam dunked the ball into the hoop and dropped to the ground. "I won't lose. Not to Kuroko, not to anyone." Kise-kun said with a serious tone.

The game continued. Once one team scores the other team scores right back. There is one minutes left of the game and the scores are 91 Seirin, 93 Kajio. The scores are tied, there are 15 seconds left of the game. Kasamatsu-senpai had the ball and tried to shoot a three but misses. Captain got the ball and passed it to Nii-chan who passed it to Kuroko-kun. Kuroko-kun dribbled to our hoop and threw the ball up diagonally. Nii-chan jumped up and grabbed the ball knowing that it wouldn't have made it if he didn't. Kise-kun jumped up after him and tried to knock the ball out of Nii-chan's hands but failed miserably which let Nii-chan slam dunk the ball into the hoop causing Kise-kun to fall down. Nice Alley-oop..

We won 100-98. I smiled widely. 'They didn't even need my help.' I looked over at Nii-chan and smiled. I then I looked over at Kise-kun and my smile disappeared. 'He's crying..'

Kasamatsu-senpai came over and kicked Kise-kun in the back causing me giggle. "Sora, we're leaving." Nii-chan told me. I looked up at him and noticed had started Kise-kun walking off. "Uhh you leave first, I'll be right there." I said with a smile and kiss Nii-chan on the cheek and ran off in the direction Kise-kun left.

I turned around the corner and saw Kise-kun washing his face. "Kise-kun!" I exclaimed. His head turned over to my direction and I ran up to him. "S-sora-chan.." He stuttered. I giggled and held out my hand. "Good game." I said with a sweet smile. He looked at my hand and asked worriedly: "But aren't you mad at me? I mean I i-injured you.." I smiled sweetly at him and said: "It's basketball, you get hurt once in a while." "Sora-chan, I was really surprised at the way you played today. You've earned my respect so I'm gonna call you Soracchi." I giggled and said: "Thanks Kise-kun." "Umm Soracchi.. would you go out on a date with me?" Kise-kun asked bowing his head down. I looked at him shocked then smile. "Why you bowing Kise-kun? You look silly." I said with a giggle. Kise-kun lifted his head up and I can see that he's blushing. "So uhh will you?" He wondered. "Of course I will, silly." I said with a giggle.

Ping.

My phone vibrated. I looked down at it and it was a text from Nii-chan saying: Sora! We're gonna be at the place we pasted before when walking to Kaijo.

I smiled at Kise-kun. "Sorry Kise-kun, I gotta go now." I said and kissed him on the cheek and giggled when his face turns red.

I ran off waving at Kise-kun. 'I can't wait for the date, it's gonna be fun.'
