Always (John X Remi)

Chapter 1

3rd Person POV

Remi looked down at the paper, the names of the dead vigilantes stained with tears. Her Brother was killed trying to help people and these people are treating their death like jokes.

She felt her ability active as she burns the list leaving a shred of paper with the name "X-Static" falling to the ground

John wasn't feeling like listening to the teacher's lesson any more

"Can I go to the bathroom" John asked getting a death glare from his teacher

"Fine" she said

John walked through the hallway as he just wanted to clear his head. He turned a corner to see a pink hair girl holding a piece of paper. John turned back around not wanting to get involved as he would probably get beat up. Untill he heard quiet sobs.

He turned around and stuck his head around the wall to look at the pink haired girl. It was then he recognized her as the queen of the school, Remi.

John POV

Remi, was she crying?

I looked at her and saw her active her ability burning the paper

As she tuned a corner and was out of sight, I walked up to the shred left of the paper she was holding.

It read "X-Static" I heard about X-Static in the news yesterday. He was a vigilante who had been killed. But why would Remi care.

Then I remembered. X-Static had a lightning ability, so did Remi. I had heard from people gossiping that Remi had been gone for a week for a family emergency.

Remi must be related to X-Static

As I was piecing it together I head a voice shout "Hey Cripple"

Remi POV

As I was walking down the hall going back to my class I heard a voice yell "Hey Cripple" then a loud "Whack"

I turned around the corner to see what the noise was. I saw a blonde kid that kind of looked like Arlo but was much shorter, standing over a kid with black hair that was drenched in hair gel who was sitting on the floor a crater in the wall behind him, blood leaking out of his mouth

The black hair kid began to speak.

"What the Fuck Hower" he yelled

The blonde kid apparently named Hower's face turned from a smile to a pissed of scowl.

"You dumb cripple how dare you speak to me" Hower said while kicking the black haired in the ribs.

The black hair boy coughed up more blood and closed his eyes.

I wiped the tears fron my eyes and walked up to the two.

"What do you think you're doing" I asked menacingly

"Who the Fuck is asking" he said not looking at me yet

As he turned around he saw me and his face tuned fearful

"R-Remi?" He said quivering

"Why did you do this to him?" I asked in the same menacing tone

"W-Well he's just a c-cripple and he needs to be put in his place" Hower said still shaking

Without saying anything I put my hand on his shoulder and gave him a big shock.

He screamed out in pain

"Owww, why would you do that" he asked

"If I see you doing anything like this again, I'll send you to the FUCKING infirmary" I said annoyed with how he couldn't understand why I would shock him

"Speaking of the infirmary" I said, walking over to the black haired boy

"I need to take him there" I said

I Looked at Hower, "why are you still in my presence" I asked

He whimpered and ran away. I hoisted the black haired boy over my shoulders and took him to the infirmary.

I made it to the infirmary and managed to open the door without dropping the boy. As I walked in Doc looked at me raised and eyebrow untill he saw the boy. His face turned kind of scary as he walked over to us.

"What happened to John" Doc asked

"Who" I said confused

" John the boy behind you, the unconscious one" he said

Oh, so John was his name I thought

"Uh some mid tier name Hower was beating him up. I said

Doc sighed "Okay but him on that be over there" he said in a tired tone.

John POV

"Monster" Claire said tears in her eyes.

"Look what you've done" Keon said

"They deserved it, they betrayed me" I shouted

Keon sighed then slammed my hair into my metal cuffs.

Then I woke up. I jolted upright in a bed . I turned to look around at my surroundings. I was in the infirmary.. again. I then saw the pink haired girl sitting beside my bed startled by the sudden movement.

"Why was Remi here" I thought

"Uhhhh Remi?" I said

"Yes John" Remi said

"Why are you here" I asked trying not to sound rude

" Well I saw you getting beat up so I thought I'd help" Remi said

" Okay then, thanks" I said

"Remi" I asked

" Hmm" she said

I felt a lump appear in my throat, but I needed to know.

I brought my voice down to a whisper. "Are you related to X-Static" I whispered
