Always (John X Remi)

Chapter 8

2 days later

Remi POV

I walked through the hallway to go to my next class when I heard a voice over the intercom

"All royals and Isen and John please report to the principal's office" keene's voice said over the intercom

As I walked through the hallway I met up with Isen

"Hey Isen" I said coming up behind him

"Oh hey Remi" he said

"Do you know what they want from us?" I asked

"No not sure" he replied "Maybe it something to do with the New Bostin kids"

My heart sank thinking about the new Bostin kids they were coming next week and John would have to deal with them

"Hey Remi, do you know why John seemed so nervous about the New Bostin kids coming?" Isen asked me

"N-No" I lied

"Okay then" Isen said as we approached the main office

We opened the door to see Arlo, Seraphina, Cecile (who was standing in for Blyke as he had been suspended for 3 weeks after the incident) and John waiting for us

"Ah Remi, Isen" Keene said standing up

Keene knocked on the door of Vaughn's office

"Come in" a voice said from behind the door

Keene opened the door to reveal Headmaster Vaughn sitting at his desk

"Take a seat" he said

We all sat down, I sat on John's lab as there wasn't enough seats. Arlo stared at us in amazement.

"Now as I'm sure you're all aware around 50 students from New Bostin High school who are interested in coming here are going to be coming here and staying for a week" Vaughn said

"As royals it is your duty to show the New Bostin students around campus" he said

"There will be three groups one for low tiers one for mid tiers and one for anything above mid tier like elite or high" Vaughn Explained

"Now the three groups will be chaperoned by two of you, John and Remi will handle the Low tiers, Isen and Seraphina will handle the mid tiers and Arlo and Cecile with deal with the elite tier +" Vaughn concluded

"Okay sounds good" Arlo said

"Then you may all leave" he said as we all get up

"John and Remi, will you stay for a second" Vaughn asked

Once we got the okay from Keene that everyone was gone Vaughn turned to us

"Remi seeing as you are John Girlfriend  I assume he's told you about his past" Vaughn said

I blushed seeing as this was the first time anyone had referred us as Boyfriend and Girlfriend

"Uh Yeah, I know everything" I said to him

"John can you confirm" Vaughn asked

"Yes she knows everything" John said

"Okay good" he said

"John I know that is might be troubling for you but Remi will be there to help you" Vaughn said

He turned to me "right?"

"Always" I said looking at John.

I was then I noticed the black bags underneath his eyes. He probably hadn't slept great since he got the news

"Thank you Remi" Vaughn said

"Now I just want to tell you that your old friends Claire and Adrion will be attending this event" Vaughn said looking at John

"I figured" John said

"They are also both going to be in your group" Vaughn said

John looked up at him

"What at least Adrion should be a mid tier right now" John shouted

" I know there is nothing I can do a man named Keon requested it he is also the reason you are chaperoning in the first place" Vaughn said

John was silent

"May we leave" I said to Vaughn

"Of course, sorry again John" Vaughn said

Me and John walked out of the office where we saw Isen, Seraphina, and Arlo standing there waiting for us

" Hey guys wanna skip class and go to Woba Boba?" Seraphina asked

"Yes" John responded without hesitation

"Sure" I said "but how did you convince Arlo to go?"

"I was his idea actually" Isen said

"Yes I would like to treat you all to Woba Boba as a way to apologize to John for sicking Ventus and Meili on him" Arlo said

"Okay then" John said "let's go"

Time skip
Woba Boba

"John have you been sleeping enough" Isen asked with genuine concern

" Y-Yeah" John said

"Okay man whatever" Isen said dropping the subject

We finished our drinks and John decides to go home so he can process the info he got , telling the others that he had a stomach ache

Isen, Arlo , and Seraphina go back to the school because it was still the school day but I followed John, telling the others I would help him with his stomach ache.

" Why are you following me" he asked

"Because you look like you haven't slept in three days so I'm staying with you tonight" I said

"Ight fine" he says too tired to argue

We made it to his apartment and sat on the couch.

"So what now" he asked

I scooted closer to him and pulled his head down onto my lap and played with his hair untill he fell asleep

John's POV

I woke up to the smell of food cooking. I got up off the couch and walked twords the kitchen to see Remi standing over the stove cooking some food

"Hey babe" she said as I walked in

"Hey" I said walking in

"When did you start calling me Babe?" I asked her

"About ten seconds ago" she said walking up to me and giving me a peck on the lips then going back to the stove

"By the way, you look hotter without your hair gel" she said

I blushed at her remark.

"Thanks Remi" I said

We ate dinner than watched a movie. While I was sleeping Remi went back to her dorm and got some things to sleep over.

Remi and I changed into our pajamas. I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and Remi was wearing an oversized hoodie and some underwater.

I thought Remi being here would help me sleep but it didn't I was looking up at the ceiling

I turned onto my side and looked at Remi who was sleeping. Looked at her for a while before she backed up and snuggled up against me

I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep.
