Realizing what I just blurted out, I quickly snap my face to Rui, telling him to make something up and cover for me.
"O-oH, well i- uhm- yeah I have no idea how am I supposed to cover this one up." Rui deadpanned, making me dread getting reincarnated in the first place while Mui just looked at me like I'm the most incompetent creature to exist.
'welp. I officially fucked up. (-_-;)・・・'
"Wha- what do you mean he got decapitated by one??!" Rui's mother asked frantically, obviously panicking out of her mind.
"How shocked would you be if we tell you we remember our past lifes?" Mui casually said, while munching on a biscuit.
"... past life?" It was now the turn of Muis mom to start panicking. All three women just looked at us like we're crazy,
"Yes. past life. Its the reason all of us are so mature. As well as surprisingly smart for our age, also why we knew eachother when we first met, it's because we knew eachother in our past lifes too." I briefly explained, getting one of the biscuits Mui was eating.
"I dont know why, but I feel like I should believe you," mom said, then turned to the other two who nodded in persuite. "So can you just explain how exactly are you linked??"
"We were on opposite sides of a war, you could say." Rui bluntly spoke, reaching his arm out for a treat.
"..what?"

*After explaining everything about demon Slayers, demons, Kibutsuji and the Taisho period:*
Mom is on her phone. And I think shes calling a detective of some sort.
"I can't take the fact they actually believed us." Mui took another sip of his plain milk, while Rui was drinking choco milk and I had a strawberry one.
(fun fact; Authors favorite milk flavor is strawberry milk! (人*'∀｀)｡*ﾟ+)
Rui's mom kept looking at us skeptically for a good 4 to 5 minutes before speaking up again,
"So...you guys were basically out for eachothers throats...?" She asked warily,
"I mean, kinda" Rui shrugged
"Well, it was more like heads. But I guess we can roll with that too." Mui muttered,
"I just informed detective tsukauchi, he's a good family friend so he'll be able to help us, his quirk will be able to solve all of this, at least I hope." Mom said, sitting back down next to Muis mom, Mrs. Tokito.
