Later that day

Dalton POV.

I showed her the secret passages first off was the passageway that lead to the hallway she said that this stuff was so cool and that she had never seen anything like this her whole life and it was out of this world. Next door we came up to Gabe's she said," aww cute" to his fluffy bunny on his bed. Then we went to Cole's room and I forgot to tell her that he likes Adventure Time but apparently she already knew about it because she just started rolling because there up on his wall was a poster that had Adventure Time on it but I had no idea what was so funny until I got out like her and seen that it had a bunch of Batman things drawn on it then I turned and looked at Etty and she just nodded her head yes before I could ask her she told me that all of them were like that except 10 of them and each had something different on it like the next one had black eyeliner on it the color I use then there was one that had a bunch of snapbacks on it then there was one with CHEETOS stains which all of us eat except Will then there was a bunch of other posters that pointed to each of us individually then the last poster was one that pointed to all of us at once. Next up was Dana's and all his except on were fine and that one was his 2nd favorite snapback it had I LOVE EYELINER on it. Oh she is so gonna get it. Next door lead to Will's room he was dancing to " GO" but Will wasn't the only one in there all the rest of the guys were there too dancing and singing to "GO" but Will and Etty was about to start laughing and I told her"shhhh!!!!" and we went to the next door which was mine Etty was ahead of me and turned asked," Hey Dalton is this your room?" and I nodded my head yes and she went ahead and went in and said," You have a guitar! before Gabe left he bought me a guitar and told me to have dad take me to lessons dad did for about a week after he went for the audition and then when we got the call saying Gabe made it into the band that all changed after Gabe left mom and dad never took me anywhere all they did was beat me and call me names." As soon as she said she took off through my regular door and went straight to her room with the look of why did I just say that outloud. I just jumped in the passage went straight to Will's door ad calmed my breathing down along with my voice and then opened the door and told Dana to come with me with the calmest voice I could muster and he came with me to Etty's room and knocked on her secret passageway door and she said come in so in we went and you could tell from the look in her eyes that she had been crying and Dana crawled over to her really fast and asked her what was wrong. Then she preceded to tell me and Dana what happened then Dana kind of ignored her after she gat done with her whole story of when we were exploring then what had happened in my room and then she continued telling me her whole life story I put comments in here and there and then I asked the question," Does Gabe know about this?" Etty shook her head no then told me," Dalton please don't tell him I don't want him to feel guilty for leaving to be in this band. I'm begging you do this for me if not me then for Gabe and this band?" I reluctantly agreed no to tell but hey it is a pretty big secret to keep.

Then I asked if I could tell Cole but Dana said,"Remember last week how you told Cole you were dating and he posted it on Twitter?" Oh yeah that was right then me and Dana looked at Etty because she said this," Dana, Dalton what is Twitter?" our jaws dropped to the floor. Dana said that it was an app that you download on a phone and she asked us what an app was and by phone did we mean corded or uncorded. We said," No a cellphone and an app is something you download on the phone." She told us that she never had a phone or a tablet or an email or a facebook or a Twitter or any other social media site or an I-Pod. The only electronic device she had was a 4 year old laptop. That was when we grabbed her hands and pulled out of the bedroom down to the living room made her sit on the couch, then we ran back upstairs to Will's room told the guys that Etty only had a really old laptop no phone or social media site and she asked us what Twitter was. Gabe took off like a bat out of hell down to the living room and said to Etty," Why didn't you tell me Hermanita that you didn't have any cool stuff?"

Etty said," Because Batman I didn't have any phone privileges my I mean our parents caught me at your concert in Orlando because me and my friends snuck out to it because mom and dad wouldn't let me go to it because we didn't speak of you in the house any more after you left because they said that you disgraced our family and any time I spoke your name the would beat on me and then they would take me down to this room they built after you left it was a little Harry Potter room under the stairs but it was smaller than that I had to curl into a ball and would sleep like that for days because I spoke your name it was like they were forgetting you so I kept saying it even if the time I spent in there was longer ever time but back to the concert they grabbed me by my hair and they both slapped me both at the same time then they took me by my hair again and pulled me into the family bathroom and hit me 4 more times and it wasn't not just slapping it was 2 punches from dad, 1 slap from mom, and 1 really hard kick from dad in my ribs and I coughed up blood that night because I had broken my ribs on a previous occasion then Dana came in before dad had kicked me and by that time I was on the floor curled in a ball then Dana turned around went right back out the door because he called 911 then he came back in and told them the cops are on the way you motherfuckers then our parents took off out the door and almost knocked Dana down on the floor and he came up to me asking if I was okay I said yes then he seen I had a black eye and my shirt then he gave me his snapback he had on then we went to meet you guys my friends were the ones you to backstage with you and I was the one Dana walked back with to Carmen's moms car." Gabe looked pissed off and ready to punch someone after Etty finished that whole thing. Then Will being optimistic self told us that we could go shopping tomorrow for a phone and anything else that she needed. I piped up and told them she didn't have a lot of clothes. They said," Then why so many suitcases?" I said that, " all her other stuff was in there like books, comics, laptop, and her necessities."
