TONI'S POV:

She grabbed my hand and we walked downstairs and we saw my mom, Penelope and my...daughter, sitting on the couch.

"Oh my god, this girl is so smart." My mum said and giggled

Octavia stood up and ran towards me and Cheryl.

"You must be my momma." She said and looked at me

"I am...and you must be my daughter." I said and knelt to her level

She didn't answer, she just came and hugged me. I got by surprise but of course I hugged her back and it felt...special.

"Nice to meet you, momma." She said without breaking the hug

"Nice to meet you too, honey." I whispered and let a tear fall.

"Will you stay?" She asked and her voice cracked

"I will never leave. I'll be here for you, forever." I said

"Thank you momma." She said

"I want to see both of your rooms. Mommy said that her room is red!" She pulled away and clapped her hands

"Tell me that you didn't make her obsessed with the colour red." I said and looked at Cheryl

"I did" she said proudly

"Let's go baby, you'll love mommy's old room" Cheryl said and ran up the stairs with our daughter following her excited.

I followed them and we entered Cheryl's room

"Wow, I want my room to be like yours mommy" Octavia said amazed

"Whatever you want hun" Cheryl said

"Do you want to paint me red too?" I said sarcastically

"That's not a bad idea momma!" Octavia giggled

"Yeah it is. I was kidding." I said

"You have to be careful with what you say when she's here." Cheryl said and laughed

"Whatever" I said and giggled

"Let's spend the day together" Octavia said

"Fine by me. What do you say, Toni?" Cheryl said and looked at me

"I'd love that. Shall we?" I said and grabbed my keys

"Where are we going?" Octavia asked

"You have to try Pop's" I said and picked her up

"Momma put me down. I'm a grown ass woman and I can walk just fine by myself" she said

"Omg, this is Veronica's work, isn't it?" I said surprised

"It is. No more auntie Veronica or Betty." Cheryl said

"Betty?" I questioned

"Honey, tell momma what you want to do for a living." Cheryl said

"Oh right! I want to become an FBI agent and kill bad people. Auntie Betty told me that she could help me with that." Octavia said

"Oh my god..." I said

"Yep, no more auntie Ronnie and Betty" Cheryl repeated

"Back off you gingerbread." Octavia said

"Excuse me?" Cheryl said with sass

"Where the fuck is my phone!" I said and I immediately regretted it

"Where the fuck is your phone?" Octavia said

"No, no, you can't say 'fuck'. Okay?" I said

"Fuck" she said

"No, you can't. Damn it." I said

"Damn it" she repeated

"Good luck with that, bab-Toni" Cheryl said and corrected herself immediately

"Look you little one, I am your mother and Cheryl is your other mother, so?" I said

"So?" She questioned

"You have to respect us" I said

"Alright momma, relax. That was a joke, auntie Ronnie told me to do when I'm bored. Now let's head to pop's!" She said and went outside

"She is..." Cheryl started

"Just like you" I finished and went outside as well

"Fair enough" Cheryl said and followed me.

We got into the car and got ready for our first day as a...family?
