I woke up feeling a little light headed only to find Michelle already dressed for work, "what's the time Madam waka-waka" I teased her.

"Well its 7:00Am I just wanted to get something from the supermarket before going to work, thats why I woke up early" she said while applying some lip gloss.

"Alright take care and make Sure you get me something from the supermarket ok" I yelled as she dashed out of the house.

I was lucky to have a friend like Michelle she treats me like a sister she never had.

Yes today is a new day I said to myself and I won't allow Austins foolishness cost me my joy in life.

as I made my way to the bathroom I played Khalid's "Know your worth" on my Jam box.

🌹Michelle's P.O.V🌹

Rushing from the supermarket to my car, someone by the side would think I had gone crazy.

I had a deadline to arrive to work by 8:00Am but here I was still at the supermarket by 7:40Am.

I hurriedly put my Items at the trunk of the car, Found my way to the drivers seat and sharply put my car keys trying to turn on the car but all to no avail.

"Shit" I screamed this car has a death wish of getting me fired
After series of failed attempts, I gave up.

Then I heard a knock on my car window, I looked up and "My Gosh"
it was that guy from the party last night, I could still remember his fair cute face and pink lips.

"It seems like your car has broken down why don't you hoop in let me give you a ride" he said raising his eyebrow.

This guy is really a flirt but I needed his car at the moment.

"So what about my car?" I said as I came down from my car,

"I"ll call my mechanic to help you repair it". He said with a light smile that smile that I loved in a guy.

His car was nice, he turned on the A.C of the car when he noticed that I was sweating.

"By the way my name is Damian Stevens" He said bringing forth his hand.

"Michelle Adesanya" I responded accepting his hand.

"Do you remember were we first met?"he asked looking straight into my eyes as if he was searching for something.

"Yes at the Club" I responded removing my eyes from his intense gaze.

"You did not seem happy, why?" he asked again.

"Its Nothing" I said tying to hide the truth, I did not know if he was somebody I could open up to.

On arriving at my office I told him to pull over so that I could come down.
