Hold On ( COMPLETE ) #Mewgulf

Gulf ..... :(

Gulf was rushed to the hospital. He was covered in blood. He was not conscious.

Doctors took him to the emergency ward.

The hospital  made a call to the number provided in Gulf ID card. It was that of Mr Ron's.

"Hello, we are calling from the City Hospital to inform you that the person named Gulf met with a traffic accident and is currently in the emergency ward.We are shifting him to the operation theatre. Kindly get here as soon as possible"

Mr Ron was shocked. His body lost the balance. They were on their way back to their house.  Mew was driving them back  home.

"What happened , who called you? Is it Gulf? " Asked Mrs Ron.

"Mew, quickly rush to the city hospital , Gulf.....Gu...Gulf is in the hospital.... accident....my son" Mr Ron burst into tears.

Both Mrs Ron and Mew was shattered by what Mr Ron said. Mew suddenly stopped the car. He felt numb. Tears started flowing down. He quickly wiped it and rushed to the hospital.

When they reached the hospital Mew rushed to the information centre and searched for Gulf.

"He is currently in the operation theatre. It's in the first floor", they informed Mew.

Mew and Gulf's parents reached infront of the operation theatre.

They were all panicking.

"God, please save my son", said Mrs Ron sobbing hard in her husband's arms.

Mew was in a wrecked state. He lost all the energy he had. 

After three hours the doctor came out of the operation theatre.

Mew rushed towards the doctors followed by Gulf's parents.

" The operation is over but he is still under critical condition. There is heavy head injury. He is currently under observation for 24 hours. Let's hope for the best. But prepare yourself for anything",said the doctor and left.

Everything felt frozen for them. Their eyes was lacking the hope.

A single day collapsed all their lives.
Mew's heart was feeling empty. All the anger he had for Gulf is now changed into pain, unbearable pain. No matter what he did , or how worst his deeds was, for Mew he was still the person for whom he fell harder.

Mew's mind  was totally under a miserable condition. On one side there is  Gulf who is in critical condition and on the other side there Diva, who claimed herself to be molested by Gulf, is waiting for him in the apartment inorder to be consoled by him. He didn't know on whose side he wants to be with. But his heart knew one thing that he will never be able to leave Gulf's side. 

He made a call to Riya saying that Gulf met with an accident that he is currently in the hospital. He asked her to take care of Diva for him that he will see her soon.

Time seems like it have stopped moving for them. They were patiently waiting every hour to see Gulf's progress. Mew can't imagine to see his Gulf lifeless.

After 24hrs of observation the doctor came up to them again and said,

"I am sorry to say this , even though the patient had survived but he is not responding well. He is in a deep coma state. We can't say for how long it may last. It may took weeks,months , sometimes years and the worst scenario is never. His brain injury is severe.  We can't assure you a fast recovery. At present you can't see the patient . So please wait patiently."

Mrs Ron cried her heart out by what doctor said.

A smiling picture of Gulf  flashed through Mew's mind for a second.
The reality is that he could not see that smile any time soon was making him hard to breath. He was not able control his aching heart. He dropped down on the floor and let his tears to fall off.

"Please.... please hold on Gulf" said Mew in his mind.  He wished to see Gulf , his old Gulf with his beautiful smile. He had no courage to see Gulf in this state.

But Mew's thoughts was disrupted when the nurse called him to inform  that the police have arrived. As it was an accident case it was the responsibility of  hospital to inform the police department.

The nurse took him to the  police who have arrived at the hospital.

"Sir this is the patient Gulf's guardian " nurse introduced Mew to the police.

"Hello sir , I am Mew, Gulf's husband.

"Ok Mr Mew , we have already checked the CCTV footage and made an enquiry with the passersby on the accident spot. So what we analysed is that this is not a hit and run accident. Mr Gulf was a victim of over speed.  He loose his control and which made his bike to hit on a  roadside tree".

After the police left Mew was stunned when he realised a hard reality.

"so he was trying to take his own life...and that was not just an accident....
so Gulf was saying the truth that he didn't do anything to Diva.

Mew wiped out his tears, his face was fuming in anger. He wanted the truth. And the one who knows the truth was Diva.

He went on to see Diva.
