Lauren woke up to the rise of a sunny day. Her mother rushed in and had a big grin on her face.
"Guess what I got?" Lauren's mother exclaimed. "Huh? What is it mom? I have to get ready." Laurnen said, annoyed.
"Yes, but!.. I got your new school uniform!" Lauren's mother said, happily.
It had white buttons, a blue skirt, and a white shirt to it. Lauren scanned at it, her eyes were big. "I.. I LOVE IT!" She jumped up and down and was happier than expected.
"Im so glad you do!" Her mom said with a smile.
She looked at the time; It was 7:21!
"Oh shoot! You better throw this on and eat some breakfast, you need to be at school by 7:43!" Her mom said.
Her mom walked out of the room, going to get her a plain breakfast meal: Corn Flakes.
"Oh god, I'm kinda nervous..but at least the uniform is good." Lauren said, smiling weakly. She tried not to think much about it.
Lauren rushed out the door after she changed. She ate breakfast as fast as she could, but not as fast.
"I'm so proud of you, sweetie!" Mom came to hug her.
"Cmon..Mom! I have to pack my bags for school! It's almost 7:30!" Lauren said, annoyed.
Mom stepped away and smiled. "OK, sweetie. Have a great day!" Mom replied, giving her a quick kiss on the head.
"Bye, mom! I'll see you in a few hours!" Lauren said, stepping out of the house.
And she was off.
