Puerto Vallarta,
Lead by a corrupt government
Narcotics either being seized or used
Soldiers cruising down the street
Armed with assault rifles
A place everyone fantasizes to visit
Shops shut down
Families scavenge for work
Begging for change
Handing out small "chicle" packets
Beans and rice over and over
Their car being pushed to the very last mile
Beaten up buses brakes screech
As if someone blew a whistle
Roads changing, with paved, with dirt
Motorcyclists risk their lives weaving through traffic,
Hidden speed bumps wait to take out your undercarriage
Yet everyone takes the streets
Madness lurks in every corner, with
Excursions littered all over the map
Scouting for whales in deep unknown
Flying with birds whilst zip-lining
Rushing through mountains on worn out ATV's
Mucky, icky, abominable water,
The faucets poor out poison
Sickness becomes reality
Dehydration waiting to take someones life
Huge purified tanks, filled with value
Taken for granted
Burning garbage
Upbeat music
Laughter
Torn up flip flops protecting nimble feet
Clueless of what the outside world is like,
Dreaming of receiving a bike
Negligible "pueblos" scattered everywhere
Dogs take over the streets
Homeless, consuming garbage
Scars cover their body
Constantly itching the rabid flees of themselves
Freedom across the border
Houses everyone's hopes and dreams
No more appalling life
No more rice and beans
No more awful occupations
More sovereignty over your life
