"Hi sir welcome to Heavenly scents...i saw you standing here and thought you might need some help",the friendly worker came up to me...I had been standing here for a total of eight minutes...captivated by her.

"Oh hello...uh...Jess," I said...her name tag was a sickening pink but hey...this was a perfume store.
"Do you need any help sir?" She asked me...she looked sweet.
"No no I'm alright... I know exactly what I'm looking for."
"No problem...I'll be over there if you need me,"and with a smile...she left.

I was contemplating approaching her.
But what would I even say...
"Uh hi I've been watching you from a distance for quite a while now and I would really like you to be mine."

That would be stupid.

I needed to approach this in a level headed manner.

I walked up to her.

"Hi I am so sorry to be a bother to you...but could you please help me out?"
"Oh um...with what?"she asked...she looked very sceptical and she had every right to be...I mean a strange man had just walked up to her in a perfume store for women.
"I'm very sorry but I'm here to buy my girlfriend some perfume and you have the exact same perfume I last saw in her dresser...I just wanted to know if you think it would be a good idea for me to buy her the same one...or would she like something different maybe?"

This wasn't too bad...it was a believable story.

"Oh...oh I think buying her the same one would be a good idea...maybe she liked herself to have a particular scent you know?"

Oh I know...it's part of what drew me to you in the first place love.

"Oh you really think so?...I guess that would be a good idea...thank you so much."
"Oh it's no problem...it's nice to see a man taking initiative like this...it's very romantic and I'm sure she will love the gesture," She said smiling.

Man she had a beautiful smile...it was driving me to the brink of insanity.

"Well thank you again...I'll be on my way now," I said...taking the perfume and going to the cashier.

I left the store with my purchase.

I talked to her.
For the first time ever I had spoken to her and I had enjoyed every minute of it.

I was really thinking about staying outside the store and just taking her the minute she left...but that would be stupid...it would ruin everything that I had planned.

No.
It was too impulsive.
I had to wait.

With that thought I got into my car and left.
