Celias POV:

Silas lead me to a huge kitchen down the hallway.
The first thing I noticed was the huge windows that decorated the walls and the view beyond them.
I felt like I was in a fairytale, the view from the kitchen was beautiful with bright green grass and flowers of every different colour blessing the ground. I noticed that the garden had a stone path cutting through it that went deep Into the forest that surrounded the estate.
I was in awe.

My eyes scanned across the 'farm house' style kitchen, there was a huge dark wood kitchen island with a white marble counter top. The kitchen had counters all around it in a C shape and I noticed that there was a huge arch on the left side that lead to a brighter living room.

It seemed that this part of the house was more modern than upstairs ,which had a much more 'dark acadamia' aesthetic to it.
But somehow they still fit together perfectly with the dark wooden undertones running throughout the whole house.

It made me wonder where I was.
Surely I couldn't still be in London, I had to be somewhere else.
What if I wasn't in England anymore?!
Everyone I spoke to had some kind of accent and I couldn't quite place where it came from.
Definitely European that's for sure.

"You're not just going to stand there all day are you?" Silas mused from the other side of the island with Belle still attached to his hip.

He sits Belle down on the island and grabs a green apple from the fruit basket. He then goes into the pantry and brings out cereal for her, she quickly jumps off the counter and gets to work preparing her breakfast.

Silas stays on the other side of the island and leans against one of the white marble counters.
The sun was shining behind him, through the window, and it made him look ethereal.

I looked at him for a second before sitting on one of the bar stools opposite him and crossing my arms over my chest.

His eyes followed my action and I watch him stare at my breasts for a few seconds before clearing his throat and biting into his apple whilst looking into my eyes.

I noticed that Silas liked eye contact a lot.

"You said we have a lot to talk about." I state, raising my eyebrows at him.

Silas playfully rolls his eyes and pushes himself up so he sits on top of the counter, his long legs hang off the side, nearly touching the ground.
I notice Belle skip out of the kitchen with her bowl of cereal and Silas waves at her.

"We do." He bites into his apple again.

"Care to share? Because I'm currently very confused as where the hell I am and who the hell you people are."  I start to get impatient with his discreetness.

Silas finishes his apple and throws the core into the bin.

"You're aware your father is a very important man right?" He questions me.

So my father is the reason I'm here? Great.

"The only thing I really know about that man is that he doesn't care for anyone but himself."

Silas' eyes flash with surprise and then he lets out a low chuckle.

I hate to say it but that was hot.
So fucking hot.

"Well that man is very important and very powerful Amore, so of course being the daughter of such a powerful man will put a target on your head."

Amore.
