Jun's POV

I stood there awkwardly as Joshua sets up the cot next to his bed, getting blankets, pillows. "I'll go get you some pajamas." I nodded and sit down on the cot as I wait for him.

I change into the clothes he gave me, it was just a simple white shirt and black sweatpants,

"Oh and here's a toothbrush." I took the toothbrush, thanked him, then walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Goodnight Jun." "Goodnight Joshua..."

I kept turning, twisting, trying to find the right spot, but I just couldn't go to sleep, I sit up and turn to look at Joshua. I quietly get up and creep downstairs.

I sit down on the couch and just stare at the T.V like if I keep staring it would turn on, I felt a tap on my shoulder making me jump a little. I turn around and saw Joshua rubbing his eyes, cute...

"What are you doing up late?" I asked, He gave me a straight face, "I should be asking you that question." Joshua chuckled after, he sat down next to me and started staring at the T.V too,

"Can't sleep?" Joshua asked,

"Yeah, how did you know that I was down here?"

"I didn't hear all the rustling and moving around. So I sat up and didn't see you there and here we are now."

"Oh, sorry for waking you up." I  apologized, Joshua smiled and turned his head to look at me, "It's fine." Joshua slightly punched me on the shoulder, it was awkward and silent, I opened my mouth but nothing came out, "Thank you for making my mom smile and laugh, I've never seen her so happy in a long time..." Joshua sighed, "It's been so long since I've seen her real smile, whenever she shows her real smile, her gums show and it just makes me so happy, Thank you so much Jun." I smiled warmly until I felt weight on my shoulder, I gave a soft smile as I see Joshua snoring slightly, his head laying on my shoulder, I quickly put a blanket around us, rest my head on his head, "Goodnight Joshua..." I lay a soft kiss on his head then fall asleep.

I flutter my eyes open and I smile as I see Joshua still next to me sleeping soundly. I grab my phone, it was 5:30, I picked up Joshua and brought him upstairs to his room. I lay him on the bed but he didn't let go of me, I struggled to get out of his arms so I gave in and laid next to him, he finally let go but moved close to my chest. Face flushed red, heart pounding, eyes wide.  What if Joshua could hear my heart pounding through my chest?! I tried not to think about that so I finally calmed down now, I could smell the vanilla scent coming from him, he looks so peaceful, maybe the popular kids aren't really that bad I guess...

Maybe after like 5 minuets, I rest my eyes and fall asleep in dreamland.

"Jun wake up, we have school still." Joshua slightly tapped on my shoulder making me open my eyes a little, I groan and turn the other way, "It's to early!" I whined, I drown myself into the covers and blankets, yet Joshua still managed to get to me. "C'mon! We don't want to be late." I pouted and looked at Joshua, "You can go, I'll stay here." I saw him roll his eyes, "Oh don't be such a child." I rolled my eyes back at him then I lift my hand, he grabs my hand and helps me stand up, "You're uniform's in the bathroom along with the toothbrush I gave you." I nodded then started heading to the bathroom.

Authors POV

"I'm ready! Where's you're mom?" Jun asked as he ran downstairs holding his backpack, "She had to go to work. Oh here, you can eat that on the way to school." Joshua throws an apple at Jun, picks up his backpack and starts walking to the door with Jun following.

The two put on their shoes then left the house locking the door behind them.

They started talking and introducing themselves more, and Joshua could tell you that Jun's attitude was a lot more energetic, talkative, and happy unlike the first time they met.
