Chapter 5

"TONY!" I yell as I run around the building looking for him. This wasn't the first time he's been out of bed when he was supposed to be resting as Bruce told him to. I have been training with Wanda lately and dude omg I'm literally falling in love with her even though I'm like 1000% sure she doesn't feel the same way and she's probably straight anyway, but I feel like I'm gonna burst so I really need to tell someone, so I decided I was going to tell Tony. Our bond grew over these past few days and we told each other all our secrets, so I thought it was about time I told him about this one.

"Oh my god y/n what do you want I'm trying to train here," Tony says as I run up to him in the gym. He's practicing with his suit and blasting stuff. "Can we talk please, ita important" I ask quietly. Tony looks at me concerned and nods. He gets out the suit and we go sit down on a bench in the garden. I look at my hands as I speak to him, "I um have a crush on one of the Avengers" I saw quickly out of nervousness and I slowly look towards him to see his reaction. 

"Yeah let me guess, Wanda right," He says jokingly rolling his eyes. "Wait, how did you know," I ask curiously. "Holy cow, I wasn't actually being serious but I guess that answers my question." I look away, expecting him to disapprove when he then says "Hey, I had a feeling since you guys met, I mean the tension in the room was always through the roof when you were together." He said to me with the biggest smirk on his face. I sigh in relief as I bury my head into my hands. I always tend to go red from embarrassment when I open up to people. "It doesn't matter anyway, she doesn't look at me like that," I say lifting my head. "Did she say that or are you just assuming?" Tony says. "Assuming," I say guiltily. Tony shakes his head and laughs. "So you don't know she doesn't like you, I mean she might, you should have seen her face when she first saw you coming down the stairs" Tony smiles whilst saying this. "I-" I go to talk when I'm interrupted by F.R.I.D.A.Y "Can all Avengers, and y/n, come down to the living room immediately" I blush when I hear my name. Tony stands up and grabs my hand, "Come one, we'll talk about this later". I nod and follow him into the living room.

We found a HYDRA base and we think it has the tesseract" Steve says. "So I need everyone to suit up and get on the jet". He walks off to the jet as he finishes talking. I go to my room and suit up, well I didn't really have a suit as such, but Tony thought it would be fitting to wear blue so I wear a blue leather jacket with black leather trousers and top, Kinda similar to Wanda's jacket and Nats suit.

I get on the jet and sit next to Wanda. I get butterflies as her thigh brushes against mine every now and then. The jet lands in a snowy area full of trees and bushes, I notice Wanda is upset as this looks like the place where she and Pietro were experimented on by HYRDA. "Hey, you okay?" I ask and place a hand on her shoulder, she jumps as if snapping back to reality and gives me an unconvincing smile. "Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me." She replies looking away from the window. I smile back and then look outside nervously. I take a deep breath, getting ready for my first real fight against people who're actually trying to kill me. "Do you wanna sit this one out y/n, I mean you have only been training for a week," Tony says coming up behind me. "But she has improved a lot over the last week and is very very powerful," Wanda says backing me up. "Yeah, I'll be fine Tone, don't worry about me" I fake a smile and nervously head outside.
