Chapter 6

I lift a person off the ground with my powers and throw him against the bunker. I smile proudly and then turn to see Tony fighting 5 people at once, "Always trying to show off" I say to myself rolling my eyes. Two people came running at me and I let my powers flow out towards them, blue strands wrap around their necks as they stop and get lifted up into mid-air grabbing at their throats as they choke, my eyes start glowing blue and I float slowly in the air, my powers taking over me. Then I drop to the floor...

I try to stand as a sharp pain hits my stomach, I lean against a tree and take my hand off my stomach to see blood pouring out of a gunshot wound. I wince as I look around and see a group of soldiers come towards me with guns. I grit my teeth and stand up fully in a fighting stance, ready to fight all 14 of them.

Then Wanda comes down and lands in front of me and flicks her hand and all the soldiers fall to the floor unconscious. Before she turns around I put a hand over my stomach so she can't see the wound. "You okay?" she says in her thick accent, obviously worried. "Yep I'm totally fine, why wouldn't I be okay?" I say trying to be convincing. She gives me a weird look before she flies off to help Nat who was outnumbered. As she flies off I feel myself losing consciousness. I pinch my face trying to keep myself awake and realise the blood pouring out of my nose. I start to panic and then everything goes burry before I drop to my knees due to the lack of blood before I completely collapse to the floor unconscious.

Wanda's POV

I fly over to Nat and help her take down 5 people by throwing them against each other and the walls. "Thanks" Nat pants as she puts her guns in her halster. I laugh as she trips on a tree root and looks back at me embarrassed. Then I look for y/n again, last time I saw her she looked like she was in pain but maybe she was just tired. I look around for her but I can't find her. I start to panic and then suddenly Steve talks into the earpiece, "Okay everyone back to the Jet, I have the tesseract" I fly back to the jet and look around everywhere for y/n but I can't see her anywhere. "Maybe she is with Tony" I mutter to myself.

I get on the jet and everyone except Y/n is here, "Tony where is y/n?" I ask, my stomach gets this weird feeling like something bad has happened. Tony looks at me with a worry on her face, "I-I don't know I thought she was with you" He replies nervously. "Why would she be with me?" I ask Tony. Tony looks away suspiciously but I don't care, all I care about is finding Y/n. "Okay, we need to go NOW!" Steve says as he walks to the pilot seat. "What! Bu- but y/n isn't here yet" Tony says worriedly. "I know and I'm sorry but they have just sent more troops out and we don't have the hulk right now" He says glaring towards bruce who is sitting listening to opera rocking back and forth with a blanket wrapped around him. "Plus, Y/n isn't here and we need her. Look we need to go" Steve starts the engine and closes the back door. I sit down on the chair and cover my face as tears come pouring out of my eyes. I don't want to seem weak in front of everyone. I look up at Tony and I see him also fighting back his tears. Nat looked at us sympathetically "Look, when we get back to the tower, the first thing we'll do is find her okay?" She turns back around and sighs. I look up at Tony again and see him now sobbing quietly into his arms, he and y/n had really gotten close recently, I can only imagine how he feels. I put my head down and silently cry until we reach the tower.
