Getting to know you

(Cheryl's POV)

Okay granted i may seem like this uptight, annoying, nagging person while i'm at school but while i'm with Toni i feel more than that. I feel like i'm somebody she makes me feel that. Just as i was getting ready to start writing my music my mom busted in my room. I got into music a while ago. It makes words sound more understanding. Anyways my mom busts into my room yelling about god knows what. "CHERYL MARJORIE BLOSSOM!!!" She screams busting into my room. I roll my eyes and pinch the bridge of my nose "what now mom." She laughs "I heard you've been messing around with a girl. My mom is not homophobic but she is at the same time i don't know how explain it. "Yes i have what about it?" i asked her grabbing my guitar. She kinda smiles at me "Tell me about her" is what she says catching me by surprise but i sat down at my desk. "She has pink hair, her skin is a beautiful caramel, she has light freckles, she blushes from the slightest touches, she gets kinda shy around me, and we're going to pops later tonight so i can get to know her better." My mom smiles and rubs my arm "she's a keeper. Make sure you don't hurt her ok?" I nodded at her as she walked out my room. I thought about what she said and started to write my song.

Once I finished the song i wrote it down and put it in my song folder with all the other ones i wrote. I got dressed and went out out the house. I got in my car and drove to pops. When i got to pops i saw Toni sitting there looking as beautiful as ever. I smirked as i grabbed flowers i got for her. I walked up to her and stood there watching her. I cleared my throat as i adjusted my flannel. She turned toward me and smiled. I sat down next to her and took her hand in mine. "Well how are you so beautiful?" i asked and kissed her hand. I let her hand fall back down as i gave her the flowers i brought her "These are for you mamas" i smiled. she smelled them and blushed "t-thank you" she said in a stutter. I chuckled lightly. A few minutes have passed and she was now looking at the menu and smiling. I just sat there watching her with a smirk. Finally she turned back to me and saw my smirk "what are you smirking about now" she smiled at me. I laughed at her smile and then our food came. "A cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake for the pretty lady" He said and winked at Toni. He gave me my food and stood there staring at her chest. She squeezed my thigh, showing that she was uncomfortable. I stood up and grabbed him by his shirt. I pulled him closer and got next to his ear " You ever touch her again  and i'll beat your ass . I'll find you can make sure you learn the true value of a woman ." I pushed him away and he scattered to the back of pops . I sat down and took a sip of the cherry cola , my angered expression had heightened with the nerve of that employee . I mean come on where are his manners , his home training . For godsakes this is why we date girls and not guys . I sighed and i think Toni sensed the trouble because she moved her hand to my thigh and squeezed it gently . I looked at her and she gave me a warm smile . One that could feels like a nap after a long practice , or like a nice head rub after a tough algebra test. " whats with the look ? " she asked me , i suddenly started to realize that I had been in a frozen gaze , staring at her . I snapped out of it and I shook my head " nothing , just admiring your pure beauty " I smiled gently and laid my head on her shoulder . 20 minutes later we were heading home and i walked her to her door . I smiled as i watched her walk ahead of me . " i had a really reallty good time with you tonight cheryl .. " she smiled at me . " so did i , honestly and um .. I'd love to see you again sometime soon " I told her , truthfully  . I stared into her eyes as my eyes flickered to her lips . " maybe a second date is in effect tomorrown after school " I chuckled and nodded . " I'll see you topaz " I yelled walking back to my car .

( Toni's pov )

I walked inside my trailer and stood behind the door . She's great , she's so great . I've never met anyone like her in my life . She's just so .. wow . I walked into the back of the trailer and slipped into a pair of sweatpants and a tanktop . Thinking about cheryl i pulled out my phone and typed in her number . I hesitated before sitting up to think of something to text her . I send a simple hey and drift off to sleep after several attempts to not sound desperate .
