I woke up the following morning and went to check on my face. I pulled the bandaids down and it still hasn't healed. The deeper cuts were bleeding a little still. I sigh and grab a needle and thread before starting to stitch them up. After I was done I brush my hair out and put it in a high ponytail before changing-

I slip my leather jacket on and go downstairs.

"Hey..how's your...face.." Nat frowns slightly.

They were all still here from last night, taking care of dad.

"I don't know, what do you think?" I sigh, looking at them.

They frown, glancing down.

"Is he always like this...- well when he's drunk?" Sam furrows his eyebrows.

"Me and dad don't have the greatest relationship- he doesn't care about me and I've learnt to stop caring about him. That's just the way it is." I shrug.

"Why.." Loki frowns.

"Because I look like my mother." I simply state.

"Didn't she pass away?" Wanda looks at me.

"Car accident." I nod.

"That's horrible, I'm sorry." Brooke frowns.

"Nothing to be sorry about.." I run my hand through my hair.

"Woah.." Bucky leans forward. "Are your eyes violet!" He gasps.

I nod.

"Good morning." Pepper sighs, carrying Morgan and putting her in her play pen.

I glance at Morgan before leaving.

"Woah! What the fuck-" Jackson growls, grabbing my face and looking at the scars.

"I got into a fight.." I roll my eyes. "I can't remember much of what happened though."

"Why aren't you healing?" Holly whimpers.

"I'll be fine, Birdy it takes time." I reassure.

"Do you remember who you got into a fight with?" Jack clenches his jaw, looking around.

"No.." I shake my head. "And it's quite frustrating.."

"Come on, let's just go in.." Jackson sighs as we walk to maths.

We sit at the back, all three of us. I get my book out and start to draw on the cover.

"Alright! Pythagoras' theorem, anyone know what that is?" Our maths teacher, Mr. Hardwick, walks in.
