Ch. 7 Explanations

After I had ventured to my room and was finally away from Dray and Sev's relentless swooning over me, I finally had a chance to demand some answers.

"We will explain as soon as you calm down! Blimey kid it's almost like you've never had a voice in your head before! If I don't recall you almost went insane when you were six! You were talking to yourself for weeks before pushing that part of yourself deep down!"

The rough voice emphasized

How do you know about that?!

I demanded. I can't believe he even knew about that. I make it a point everyday to make sure that part stays down but he is just digging it back up!

Well we have been with you almost your whole life me for all of it he got there around your 1st birthday.

The gentle voice spoke.

How did you get here? Why are you here? Who are you? Why didn't I know before? Why are you talking to me now? I could have lived my whole life without knowing there were people in my head! As I was talking I slowly started raising my voice my magic ready to explode.

Calm down! Now as I have been with you longer I will explain on my behalf first. First off you can call me Ares. It is not a matter of how it is a matter of why. I am here because I am merely a part of you, a part that when you were younger you so desperately wished it not to be. You wished to be normal, so you wouldn't be punished as bad. So magic granted your wish and pushed this part aside. Now my thoughts have leaked a couple of times and you believed you were insane. I am like your library, ask me a question and I am bound to know it. I am a place so far in your mind even the most powerful legilismist couldn't find me. I can hide all your darkest memories from the most powerfull truth serums. I am talking to you now because you will go through a transformation soon. If I didn't you would be unprepared and the magic inside of you would explode causing hundreds of life's to be lost. You are something no one has ever seen before. There is not even a name for what you are. You are not human, not a wizard, your existence is entirely magic. This means you have the power to do anything, speak to anything, go anywhere, vanish, kill with only a thought, order anything to do what you want, and transform into anything you wish. You can accomplish anything from changing into a dementor, to rising the dead. All you do is think of it and it will be. You have a another natural body, no one has ever seen before, it is nothing but black mist. Just touching it could kill someone.

After the gentle voice, now known as Ares, was done explaining I was shocked. I can't believe this! I don't even know what I am anymore!

Ok, so Ares, you are just another part of me, which is confusing. But who is the other voice?

"Now that Ares is done I will begin. You can call me Salazar. I am here because you are the heir of Slytherin. You are also the heir of many other things but you can find that out yourself. I was not supposed to be here untill you are 17 but as your Slytherin powers activated early here I am. Your powers activated early because of an attack on the night of October 31st years ago. I am speaking now because you need training. While you have your new powers you can't just expect to be able to use then first try."
