Chapter 24

I walk to the alter room and open the door and see the disciples scrubbing the floor and the rest of the place preparing the the ritual that was meant to come. I look at them and they quickly get up and bow their head to me in respect I smile and tell them to get back to work.

My advisor Helena came to me and bowed and started to talk to me.

"We have not yet got information on your daughter, regent?" Helena said to her

"WHAT!? how can that be?" She yelled at Helena

"Well it seems she put a cloaking spell on her as you know and it is quite strong." She said to her leader in a calm manner

"How is her magic strong she was weak while she was here and can never complete a spell correctly, she must've gotten outside help form a rogue witch" The regent said and looked at her advisor

"what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to get a list of rogue witches that would be willing to help my daughter" She told her firmly and Helens nodded

"right away regent" Helena bowed again and left the room.

"what a hassle, Why do you have to be so much trouble my dear daughter?" She asked her self rubbing her temple

"maybe because she was always a rebel never listening to what you say" Her other daughter Nora walked through the door and walked to her mother

"What are you doing here aren't you suppose to keep an eye out for our sacrifice?"

"yes well I was bored mother and all they do is just stay in that house all day and night not like they go anywhere" Nora said rolling her eyes

"and that monster can be in labor anytime, and what have I told you about rolling your eyes at me." The mother getting mad at her daughter

"yeah yeah but isn't to early for him to be in labor I mean he is like 7 months and a half through his pregnancy right?" Nora said playing with her hair

"no he is actually 8 months pregnant and he can give birth early so you have to pay attention to him got it?"

"yes ma'am whatever you say" Nora said sarcastically and walked away

"*sigh* she really needs to learn how to listen and that is why I need Sage" The regent said and also walked out of the room

I woke up in the middle of the night hearing something down stairs. I get out of Liam's grip and go out the room. I make my way down stairs and made my way to the living room. I got my claws out just in case and walked toward the noise. I then saw a shadow and growled.

"who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" I questioned the mysterious and they turned around 

"its me the person you talked to" The man said

"oh the one who warned me people are coming to take my child" I said and crossed my arms

"What do you want now?" I also said

"well the people who want to take your child are making preparation for after you give birth and plans to take your baby"

"So after I give birth they will take them" I said shocked

"yes they will" The man said pity in his voice

I put my hands on my stomach and sat down on the couch shocked. I mean I already knew this was coming but right after I give birth, I thought it would be when my baby is much older. I would actually get to meet them and now I won't have time to spend with them. The pack and I didn't even come up with a plan yet to keep my baby safe. And now they won't even get a chance to live because of those horrible people what am I going to do now. What about me and Liam and our little family we are suppose to have? I already swore I was going the protect them but what if I fail what if we fail to protect our child? How could I live with myself?

Tears started to well in my eyes. Before I knew it I was crying the man left knowing I needed to be left alone. My face in my hands. I was just letting it all out. I mean what can I do in this given situation? No, I can't give up not now.

I said to myself and wiped my tears I'll figure this out like I always do. I got up and went to my room to see Liam rubbing his eyes.

"what are you doing up you should be asleep?" Liam said putting his arms out to me I got in them and hugged him and he hugged back

"nothing just thirsty" I told him lying

"you could have woken me up to do that, your suppose to be on bed rest since your on your last month"

I know I said playing with his hair.

"come lay back in bed" He said tiredly and I just nodded

He pulled me in bed with him and we were cuddling.

"Liam can you promise me something?" I whispered to him

"yes I will promise you whatever it is" He said half awake

"promise me that no matter what happens that we will all be together a little happy family" I said to him

"yes I promise" Liam smiles at me and I hold up my pinkie

"pinkie promise?" I asked him

"yes pinkie promise" he laced our pinkies together and kissed me

"now go to bed its late" he said sternly

"ok" I said and smiled at him and closed my eyes getting closer him 

*A/N: hope you liked this chapter sorry its late. I had school and my finals it was all hectic. But now I am in summer so that is exciting. To be honest I didn't really know where I was going with this chapter it honestly took me like 1 hour just to figure out what I was going to do and even in the middle of the chapter I got lost. Buut I pulled through and completed this chapter anyways. There should be more frequent chapter for now on or at least on time chapters. Just a warning I am going to summer school not because I failed my classes just because I am in a program that has a summer school thing and you can go to it and get ahead on your credits. So that is what I will be doing for most of my summer. I mean its only 6 weeks but still most of my summer sadly. So many questions in this chapter well anyways. Bye*
