PRESENT-DAY

Cyber Terror response center (CTRC)

"What do mean you guys can't trace it?" asked the very frustrated chairman of the infamous Namhae chemical cooperation. " I don't care how much money you guys need but I want you to find the people behind this" he spitted out in aggression, sitting in the office of the superior of CTRC.

"We can't help you unless you fill a formal complaint." The superior officer replied in a calmer tone.

"You know I can't do that...Do you have any idea how much share we will lose if this news gets out?...out competitors are waiting for an opportunity like this" he asked in an argumentive tone.

"Ok then file a secret complaint...we will make sure that this news won't be out to the media unless the ones behind it are caught" the officer replied back

The chairman tsked his tongue and looked to his side for a second, huffing out a breath he leaned in towards the superior. "We have some confidential information in there, something that we can't let the public know, and filing the formal complaint would give the force entire access over our systems. So I would like you to deal with it without the legal procedures which would involve finding just the hackers and not digging dirt upon us and I ensure that being in my good book list will serve you a lot of benefits" He leaned back with a smirk and asked, " So what say, officer?"

There was a pause, it was an offer that could land him a lot of money. "Fine," the superior said.

"Now that's what I thought" the chairman got up from his chair. "This remains between us, I assume" he said while shaking hands with his superior.

A WEEK LATER

"Ok..so how do I look?" Tae asked while checking himself out in the rearview mirror. "Go ahead Jen, make fun of me" he continued.

"I would have, but I don't think you will understand " Jennie said in an unbothered tone.

"Let's get going, we are late already " Namjoon interrupted Tae before he could reply.

"I can't believe we will be studying here, feels like a dream" Namjoon exclaimed

The three stood in front of the huge gate leading them to the prestigious Seoul National University. Studying here is not everyone's cup of tea...provided you are not filthy rich. Without wasting any more time they went inside of the campus. The extravagant campus blew their minds off... a huge lawn, tall buildings towering over them...it screamed rich. They slowly found their way to the department of engineering while still gaping in awe at the campus interior.

Though they were in the same block, they had different classes, Tae was in the core programming area, Namjoon in encoding, and Jennie in data analysis. It was their first day, and you know what they say the first impression is the best impression. They wished each other luck and entered their respective classes.

It would be a lie if he said he wasn't nervous, Tae made his way inside. He seated himself in the 4th row from the front. He felt a little out of place but tried acting cool. The classroom was chattery, he wanted to talk to his classmates, make friends but he just couldn't, while Tae was contemplating his life decisions ....a voice interpreted his train of thoughts.

"Hello, Class...Look at all those brand new sparkling faces" Mr. Lee began " Welcome !!" he said scanning the room through his thick lense. "So I am assuming you guys know that programming is what you learn here." he continued.

Mr.Lee was way energetic for his age, he had his hair slicked back together, a half sleeve shirt and casual Jeans are what he had worn. Judging from his look Taehyung could say he was in his late forties. Now Taehyung wasn't looking forward to being a teacher's pet, but having a friendly relationship wouldn't hurt he assumed.
