Y/N POV
"Y/N" Dante exclaims, "Let's Go!"
We make our way through the bushes while keeping a line of sight on the convoy
"We have to stop that convoy from letting in anymore supplies to the Capital" Dante says, "We cut off the supply chain, we weaken the military"
"Yeah yeah" I grumble, a little behind him
"I'm gonna use my Havocs Kusarigama and take out the first carriage and start a pile up. After that, you light them all on fire" Dante explains, "Got it?"
"Yeah" I sigh
Ever since our village was eradicated, Dante and I had gotten our hands on Imperial Arms. He stole the Havocs Kusarigama, a scythe connected to a ball and chain that wielded the power of wind manipulation. I had been chosen to carry our founders Higan. This day was very important in our goal to overthrow the Imperial Capital, as after we took down this convoy, we would attack the crippled military. Everything was riding on this
We both moved into position and I awaited Dantes signal
"RISING HURRICANE!!!" He shouts as he manipulates the wind to send the first carriage into the second, causing the other carriages to stop as well
The soldiers exited and frantically began to look for us I sneak my way behind all the carriages and launch a full force fire blast
"PHOENIX BURNING WINGS!!!" I shout
All the carriages and soldiers catch fire and begin to burn
I watch emotionless as they all scream out in pain and agony
Suddenly ice crystals erupt out of the ground and sent parts of carriages and body's in every direction
"What the hell" I grunt
And at the center of the crystals stands a tall blue haired woman. The same women who wipes out my village
"You..." I say
Before I can react, she sends a crystal at me, too fast for me dodge or destroy
"SLICING WINDS!!!" I hear Dante shout as blades of wind cut the crystal down
"You...bitch" I say as I grit my teeth, "It was you. You're the one who wiped out our village"
"Ah" she says, "I remember you. You're that insect who managed to escape. And it seems I missed more than one of you vermin"
"We'll make you pay for what you did" Dante exclaims
We both rush her from opposite sides and start to throw multiple punches at her. She dodges all of them before summoning even more crystals, forcing us to jump back
This time I rush alone. She sends more crystals at me but I blast them away with ease. As I get near her I leap into the air and prepare my next attack
"PHANTOM DEVIL!!!" I shout
I launch a beam through her head and watch as her pupils dilate. It worked. She was an open target. At the same time my attack landed, she summoned an ice wall to surround us and froze me in it
"NOW DANTE!!!" I shout
Dante slices through the wall with ease and prepares the slice the woman in half in one fell swoop
"DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!" He shouts
In the blink of an eye, a slash is heard and blood hits the ground by the gallon. Dante's blood.
