What if... Naeus didn't get the last Nether Star?

This theory is based on the Singers of Ardonia storyline.

The Last Ardoni spoilers ahead.

During the beginning of the final battle of the Eternal War, Thalleous speeds off to Mt. Velgrin to fight the Deathsinger and save Abbigail. If the process that Abbigails body is going through is completed, the last Nether Star will be lost and the Eternal Night would ensue. If say, Thalleous stopped the Deathsinger, Naeus would be killable and the Challengers would all survive.

Let's begin.

At this point in the battle, the only people that have died were Lira and Ser Theo. Thalleous and Ingressus fought and Thalleous was able to hold his own. Varek would sense that Abbigail was beginning to lose life, and that it had been a while since Thalleous had sped off.

"Achillean! Go check on Thalleous!" He would yell, Achillean would nod and mobilidash away and Varek would use this time to summon the Entity. The Entity would swiftly kill any soldiers in his path, and hold off Naeus until the time was right.

Achillean would arrive with Thalleous still fighting Ingressus. Together, after a long battle, Ingressus would grow tired and Thalleous would be able to hold him off by himself. Achillean would destroy the machine, freeing Abbigail. The three powerful individuals would defeat the Deathsinger, the last of Naeus' elite soldiers.

They would return to the battle, Abbigail alongside them. Varek smirked, knowing they could win this war.

"Entity! Now!" He would yell, lightning would strike everywhere as the Entity struck down to the ground in rage. All four challengers and Abbigail would accompany the Entity in the fight against Naeus. With A 6 v 1 against Naeus, he would try to focus on either Abbigail or The Entity. He swiftly focused on the Entity, taking his power and his sword, killing him like in the original story.

With his new incredible speed, he would focus on Abbigail next. Achillean and Varek would protect her as much as possible but they could not keep up with Naeus' swift movements. Naeus would kill Abbigail with a tear in his eye, he had no choice but to kill his daughter. He reached his hand for the Nether star but it was too late. Zulius had thrown his spear and pierced through Naeus' back. His hand hovering over the star. But he died before the Nether Star could be touched. The Nether stars remained there, unable to be picked up. Naeus' body was burned in purple fire. No Ender Knights other than Varek had survived.
