Love Struck

#14 A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Abhi, Vaish, Debu, Rohan and Sid reach hospital.
Doctor comes out of the room.

Debu- Doctor kya hua ? Vo Ananya kaisi hai theek toh haina?

Doctor- Ha theek hai vo rahi. Aap dekh sakte hai use.

Everyone looks from a window. A girl is completely covered in bandages. A lot of drippings are attached to her. Life support system is on. Seeing this everyone break down. Debu is left stunned. Way too stunned to speak. Suddenly the machines start beeping and everyone gets startled. Doctors rush to her and the doors get closed.

Debu controlling his tears moves here and there and gets restless. Sid and Rohan console him whereas Vaish and Abhi keep asking doctors what is happening. The doctor comes out and all the nurses come out with the body. Their expressions make everyone believe something that they would never want to believe. It was clear. She is Dead. The nurse confirms it.

Everyone except Debu turns inconsolable. Debu is too dumbstruck to speak. His legs fumble and soon he is on his knees. He has no idea how to react. Infact nobody does.

Soon the nurses come to them.

Nurse- What happened? Please dont create a scene here. As you can see the situation is already very bad dont make it worse.

Vaish- Hum aisa kaise kare. Humne apni dost kho di (she speaks something which is not clear because of her crying.)

Nurse- Oh hello Mam? Aapko galat fehmi hui hai.

Debu comes to his senses and everyone looks at the nurse.

Doctor- Tum log bhi na kuch bhi karte ho. Sir maine aapko wahan jaane ko bola tha. Ye lady to ek 76 saal ki aurat thi jisko cancer tha.

He points towards the opposite room where Ananya is actually sitting on a bed and silently laughing looking at all this drama. She has few bandages in her leg but thats it. Not even a scratch apart from that. Everyone turns silent but soon start laughing.

Debu- Waah Anu. Tumne to hume dara hi diya tha yaar.

Rohan- Exactly. But you know Debu ko toh kuch nhi hua. I mean vo to bus chup chap khada hi tha.

Ananya- Ha vo toh pata hai mujhe. Ise to waise bhi fark nhi padta mujhse.

Debu- Aree. Kiski itni himmat Anu ko sachchai batane ki? Maine mana kia tha na batane ke liye..

Every one chuckles. Ananya keeps smiling but deep down she is feeling reallyy very very sad and insulted.

Next Day

Everyone is in their respective hotels.

Sid- Hey. Chale sab khana khaa le? Vaise bhi phataphat yaha se nikalna hai. Bahut kuch ho gya sirf 1 hi din me.

Debu- Ha. But hum aise kaise jaa skte hai. Un sab ko sabak sikhana zaruri hai. Hum unhe yu hi nhi chod sakte. Khaas kr tb jb inhone meri...i mean humari anu ke saath itna bura kia hai.

Sid- Ohoo...Meri anu? Wahh

Debu- (blushes) Are dekho tum topic badal rhe ho. Aisa nhi chalega. Samjhe?

Sid- Ha ha bhai. Koi na. Par tum hi batai hum kya kar sakte hai? Humare pas koi rasta nhi hai. I mean kasam se agar humare paas sirf 1% bhi hope hoti na toh hum sab uske liye efforts dalte. But now...

They talk while going down the stairs where everyone else is standing. They stop talking and go to everyone and join them.

Abhi- Tum dono kaha reh gye the yaar!! So gye the kya?

Sid- Are nhi bhaiya hum bus aise hi kuch baat kr rhe the.

Suddenly they all here some sort of shouting and they all rush to see what happened..soon they see something.. actually someone because of whom everyone specially sid couldn't stop smiling. You might have guessed and yeahhh thats it.

Ananya (with teary eyes)- Anu....Anushka...

They all see anushka refusing to go through all formalities as she wants to meet Ananya as fast as possible. Actually sid had called Anushka to tell her about Ananya and what all happened with her.

Without any delay of a second...Ananya runs and hugs Anushka. Everyone can't stop smiling whereas sid has already stopped blinking. 

Few hours later. After everyone has breakfast, Ananya and Anushka go out and talk for some time.

Ananya- Yaar..Mai tujhe bata nhi sakti ki at that particular moment mujhe kaisa laga. I've never felt so sad and insulted before that..

Anushka- You know gurlll.. You are really very very brave.. I am proud of you. But tune us din kya kiya? Bhaag gyi wahan se? Thats not what my Ananya is. Meri Ananya to aisi hai jo kisi ek sher ko bhi bhaga de..

Ananya- Mai kaise batau? But us samay i really dont know what and why i did. I mean us samay kuch soonha hi nhi. But ab mai chahti hu ki un sab ko saza mile.

Anushka- Don't worry jb tk mai tumhare saath hu tbtk tumhe kisi bhi baat ki chinta nhi rhegi..

Ananya- Haa

Anushka- Are yaar sachchi

Ananya- Kya matlab?

Anushka- Matlab ki tu sab bhul jaa aur apne report me in sab ke baare me likh de aur chill maar. Aur apne aur debu ke baare me soch

Ananya- Is dabbu ke baare me kya sochu?

Anushka- Pata jaise hi tera accident hua tha tb dabbu ne kya kia tha? Chl chod tujhe vaise bhi nhi janna. Mai kyo hi apne words waste karu

Ananya- Aree bata na Dabbu ke baare me..I mean kya hua tha. Mujhe janna hai. Mujhe fark padta h bata mujhe.

Anushka- mai kyo batau.? Mujhe kya milega?

Ananya- Tujhe toh mai nhi chodungi

Ananya runs after Anushka and they both playfully go down with all laughs and start running here and there with their group.

After seriously laughing so hard for approximately 1 complete hour. Everyone finally sits and take breathes.

Abhi- Vaise Anushka..Tum yaha kaise? I mean tumhara toh bahut important wala beauty peagent tha na.

Ananya- Are ha. Mai apne baare me itna soch rhi thi ki tere baare me bhul gyii.. Bata na kya hua tere peagent ka?

Anushka- well tumko vaise bhi pata chal hi jayega. Isliye i wont lie. Mai final round me select ho gyi thi but i left. Aur yaha aagyi.

Sid feels guilty suddenly for unknown reason. But suddenly whole hotel staff starts running here and there and they turn the main TV on.

On News.

Reporter- Toh Aaj ek breaking news aa rhi hai jahan par World ki most renowned Actress Raj rupa Sen ne  officially Kolkata ke sabse ameer family par case kiya hai molestation ka. Everyone except Anushka (together)- NO WAY ANUSHKA!!!

Anushka (smirks)- I said Ananya ki just chill maar.

Anushka explains everyone how when sid told her everything she cleverly asked sid for proof  with the excuse that she won't believe him. Sid shares a video recording of everything that happened and sent it to Anushka. Anushka asked her mom to help and here is the result.

Everyone becomes very happy and share a group hug.
