"Three hundred pesos and 50 cents ma'am!" said the cashier and extended her arm to give the change.
"Thank you!" she answered.
Chelsey then turned her back and headed to the exit door from the convenient store. She was thinking of heading to the park before going home. Something had been giving her a difficult time to fall asleep, thus she needed to unwind herself.
She stepped closer to the mountainside and tried to reach bunches of twigs of a Narra tree. She stretched her arms more and tried to reach them again.
"Hhhh... Keep trying!"
She tried to cheer herself up in hopes of reaching those little twigs. She did her best and did tiptoe. She slowly felt her feet slipping down but was losing her mind trying to reach a twig.
"Anything I can help?" a familiar voice she heard from her back.
Chelsey turned around to see where that voice came from. She found her instincts right, and smiled at the girl. She stepped towards Maori. She was looking around if anyone was in there too.
"You knew this please?" Chelsey wondered.
"Not really. I just find this attractive! I think it's a good place to unwind." She nodded confidently, roaming her eyes while brushing her hair with her fingers as it was blown away by a reviving cold wind.
"Breathtaking, silent- beautiful!" she continued in amusement, and let out a deep breath.
Chelsey did not find it that way as how Maori narrated her thoughts. She could sense Maori's dramatic statements and was feeling uncomfortable at all. She took a piece of broken twigs and started crawling down out of her mind.
"We could find a better place rather than here, Chelsey" Maori swiftly murmured to Chelsey.
"Something I can offer better than this view, we have been exhausted Chelsey, we somehow need this also." Chelsey nodded as Maori then led the way. They have been taking more steps as they get closer farther away from the people.
"I bet you haven't been here Chelsey. This is where I usually spend my time. You can roam yourself for you.'' They finally reached a small abandoned house. It did not seem to be familiar among people as it was hidden behind big forest trees and you could not see nearby houses or a place for the public. You could only hear chirping birds outside, and the place seemed horrible.
"Chelsey!" Maori calling Chelsey fancily.
"I'm here!" she yelled out again from the kitchen.
"I'm coming!" Chelsey said, taking her footsteps from the room where she could hear the echo.
"Could you help me, please?" Maori sincerely begged, showing off her teared left palm with the knife on her right arm. Chelsey took the knife from Chelsey and placed it over the sink.
"Maori? A knife, how could this abandoned house get that new knife?"
Maori quickly stood up from her place. She turned her back from Chelsey and started walking away. They could only hear dancing leaves out through the wind and chirping birds. It was losing them up.
"Let's end it here Chelsey" but before that, let me share something with you so that you have no regrets in your whole life living in this world.
"I'm confused. What story?" Maori just smiled and started talking...
"There was this girl named Athena. She gave birth to a baby girl and named it Chelsey..."
"Have you heard about the story, Chelsey?"
