Your P.O.V

He should be home by now, you thought. Kurapika told you he would be home late, but late usually meant 9:30 P.M. Not 10:55! You put his dinner in a container and placed it in the fridge. You had set the table beforehand, expecting him to walk through the door and surprise him, but he didn't arrive. You ended up eating dinner by yourself. Worried, you went upstairs, getting ready for bed. You went in the bathroom and turned on the shower. You took off your G/C (garment color) clothes, folded them, and put them on the counter. You were terrified at the endless possibilities of what could of happened to him. He constantly told you not to worry and that he could take care of himself if he needed, but his words fell upon deaf ears as you scrubbed yourself  thinking of everything that could go wrong. You began to cry as you begin to think that he may never make it back home.

Kurapika's P.O.V

"Damn it.", he murmured to himself. He knew the moment the time was 9:45, you'd begin to fret. Although he was almost home and going at a considerably dangerous speed, he still cursed himself for not being home on time.  Once he arrived at the house, he silently opened the door and locked it, assuming you were asleep. He took off his shoes and went past the kitchen when he was stopped by a neon sticky-note.   Your dinner is in the fridge!  He felt terrible for not notifying you that he would be home. He went upstairs and peeked in. Strange, he thought, they weren't in bed. He saw the light of the cracked-open bathroom door. He also heard something. It was faint and was he not paying attention, he would've missed it. Crying. He heard your cries and slowly entered the bathroom. He knew you wouldn't notice that he was here because of the shower curtain. He began to take off his clothes and began to open the curtain
