Let your power shine

Delhi; the city that saw the rise and fall of seven mighty kingdoms; the city that had its foundation stone laid down seven times. It isn't just a city; it is the seat of imperial power-the city that witnessed it's fair share of flamboyant luxury and equally disturbing massacres, lanes of Chandini Chowk dotted with foreign traders spewing out money in exchange for the fascinating exotic goods and then the same lanes had streams of blood flowing through them. It isn't just a city; it's a paradox. Same lanes housed poets and Priests and the same housed prostitutes and pungent smell.

It is a beautiful amalgamation of the past- with narrow, lively lanes of Chandini Chowk bursting with a diverse array of flavours of life- a flashy, sign board right below a traditional haveli- and the present- with rapid urbanization and transit developments, leaving us with drool worthy contemporary sky-kissing glass buildings. The Khirkhi Mosque standing right opposite to the huge Select City Walk Shopping district . The urban fabric of Delhi is a complex one- be it in terms of it's architecture or lifestyle that people follow which then finally ends up shaping them into who they are. Modern but with strong cultural roots.

She was an otherworldly, magical being.

Seeming to be not quite made of flesh and blood, there was just something about her way of floating into a room like a mystical priestess, often clad in flowing silks. Her air of knowing wisdom instantly gave one the sense that she was dealing with a very old soul. Reality was not always her favorite place to inhabit.

She always fought for the underdogs and was known for her soft-hearted ways.

But, is being soft-hearted an interchangeable term for being easy?

He was the one with magnetic power of humour. A goofball and life of every party, he knew how to use his adorable, light and breezy nature to his advantage.

With a tongue dripping with Delhi slangs and fashion sense to match it, he marched to the beat of every popular circle in Delhi and Chandigarh. A "happening" party? Vivaan will be there. A meet up to beat up? Vivaan will be there. A concert? Vivaan will be there.

But if you need a friend? Vivaan will be the first one to be there.

They say there comes a time in our lives where all you want to do is jump off a cliff, into the inviting blue water and when you resurface again, you resurface in a parallel Universe. Can a person help you with this journey?
