*Sam's P.O.V.*
You know that feeling when you run too much and you heart feels like it will explode, but you just can't stop?
That's how it also feels when your best friend walks in on you and her crush about to kiss. Maybe even worse.
After I walked out Justin's room, I pulled out my phone, seeing I had two missed calls. The first was from my mom, I called my back, and it went straight to voicemail.
The second was from Edward. He picked up on the second ring.
"Hey, Sam!" he said,
"Hey." I said, walking to the elevator.
I pressed Floor 1, seeing a kid with long blond hair and wide green eyes approaching fast. I put my hand on the closing doors, letting her in.
"So, I can get you a ride here, just tell me whenever you're ready to come home."
"Okay, bye,"
"Bye." I said, seeing he'd hung up.
Meanwhile, the kid stared at me, all awed.
"Hi..." I said, a little odded out.
"Hi." she squealed.
"Well, I better go..." I said, seeing we'd approached the first floor.
"Wait!" she said, grabbing my hand.
"Yes?" I said, slightly agitated.
"Can you sign my shirt?" she asked. I grabbed the marker that she held out, utterly confuaed as I signed her shirt.
"Bye!" I said, getting off. She squealed once more as the doors closed.
I trued to call Taylor's phone three times. It went to voicemail. I sighed, calling her one last time.
"What?" she said. I noticed her voice was cracked, as if she'd been crying.
"I'm sorry Tay." I said. She hung up. I groaned, going outside. The sun was beating down as I walked across the street. I saw a McDonalds, rushing in. I managed to order two coffees and a Egg White Delight before being bombarded by strangers. Who wanted my autograph. I forced a smile, signing papers and shirts and shoes. I heard my name and all of a sudden, Justin walks in. I quickly grabbed my order and leaned into Justin's chest, acting as a shield to guard the even bigger crowd outside. We rushed back to the room, earning a glare from Taylor, who sat on the couch, flipping through channels. I handed her one coffee, and Justin the other.
"Thanks, Sam." she said, giving me a small smile. I stared at her, eating the breakfast sandwich and Justin kept glancing at us as he downed his coffee in three gulps. I smirked as he threw it out. Taylor stared at tje ground taking smaller sips. I glanced at the two, contemplating who I cared for more.
I then realize it was a tie.
