Scene 13

"Wake up! Babe... Babe!" Dabi shakes you, aggressively trying to wake you up. You jerk awake wiping your eyes trying to register what is happening. You see Dabi grabbing clothes and putting them in a bag. It's 3 o'clock in the morning and the only light is coming from the bathroom.

"What? What are you doing?" You ask groggily, he tells you to get out of bed and walk over to him.

"They are coming. Hawks said that you left the agency, and they are coming after you." He doesn't look at you, running back and forth from the bathroom grabbing whatever he can.

"Ok ok, calm down. Talk to me."

You grab a hold of his hands forcing him to look at you. Dabi stops in his tracks, takes a deep breath.

"Everyone is after you, we don't have time. We have to leave. The cops, heroes everyone please I'll tell you in the car."

You grab some cotton shorts, putting them on under Dabi's white t-shirt that you slept in. Pick up the bag he was packing, put on your tennis shoes and tell him to lead the way.

You two get into the car and he backs out of the driveway, driving out into the woods. You watch out the side mirror, your safe house getting further and further away. Until it is completely hidden behind the trees. You wonder if you will ever be able to come back, turning to Dabi you demand he tell you everything.

"Hawks told everyone that you were a traitor. He said that you used him to get you into the League so you could feed us information. Making it sound as if you were a part of the League the entire time. They were coming to get you; the police ransacked your home already and were trying to contact your family to find you. I needed to get you out of that house before they got you."

He ended the conversation there keeping his eyes on the road. You look out the window, your blood boiling. Hawks is taking everything away from you, your job, your reputation, everything. Dabi keeps driving while you fall asleep leaning against the window.

You wake up in a gas station parking lot, Dabi is outside filling the car. You turn on the radio hoping to get some news about what is happening, and hear the broadcaster say:

~In todays' news Pro Hero Hawks and the Commission are looking for League of Villain's member, Dabi. He is believed to be armed and dangerous, and will be with a woman by the name Y/N. She is also believed to be dangerous. ~

Your eyes widen as the broadcaster repeats the information, describing Dabi's appearance and yours. You bang on the window to get Dabi's attention and roll it down and yell out to him.

"We need to leave, now!" Dabi puts the nozzle up, closes the gas tank and gets into the car.

"What's wrong?" you turn up the radio so he can hear what they were saying.

While he listens, you look out your window and see the store clerk watching you two. He moves his head trying to get a better look. You lock eyes with each other, you see his mouth open, and he reaches down as if he was looking for a phone.

"Drive!" Dabi looks at you confused. "Drive, Dabi Drive!" He puts the car in gear and speeds out of the parking lot.

You look in the mirror holding your breath waiting to see if flashing lights will form behind you. You breathe once you realize you two are in the clear.

Dabi drives for what feels like another three hours, the sun is rising, and you rest your head on his shoulder.

"Where did you get this car?" You say with a yawn.
