Darren's POV
A giant screech wakes me from my deep sleep. As I start to get up, something pushes me back down. I try again, but my strength is nothing compared to this. It pushes me back down. Stupid as it sounds, I try again. When I get the farthest I can, I immediatly stop. Before it can push me back again, in front of my face, lies green. A green face full of all sorts of scars. Scars over his eyes, mouth, and even his tounge.
I wanted to be pushed down again at the sight of his tounge. It had scars, warts, & words carved into it. I read it and it said 'Long Live The Barbariens'. Were these the people that would stop at nothing to kill me? Would he try to kill me? Before these questions could be answered, I saw something come at me. His tounge. As it makes contact with my skin, I just want to throw up.
It is slimey, and just pure disgusting. My stomach turns every second it makes contact with my skin. When the tounge leaves part of my skin, I can feel the slime drying almost immediatly. Once it dries, my skin feels like it is burning. After what feels like an hour of him licking him me, he finally pulls away. "Human." He mutters to himself. I literaly froze at the site of him talking.
This stage does not last long though. Right after, I drop to the ground in pain. I hold my hand to my burning face. It does not feel like fire though - trust me I know what that pain feels like - insted it just feels like a burning sensation. I take my hand from my face, and I smell a very metallic smell. My thoughts are confirmed when I see the red blood on my hand. Giving up, I just lay on the ground, and let the gaining blood trickel onto my face, then create a pool of blood.
As the pain grows even more, I let out a wimper. "Jusst stttop talkking." He said. I noticed that he had trouble with every word. There was something in the voice that gave me chills all the way up the line. We probaly just stay there for about 15 minutes before I realize that I must escape. I look all around the room trying to find some thing to use against him. When I see nothing to help, I let out a weak cry. He spins around quickly, and lifts me up with increadible strength until I am up to his face. "If... you talllk one morrre time... I... will brreak your face!" He says again with lots of trouble. His breath gets into my nose, and when he thrusts me onto the ground, I immediatly throw up.
I look back at him to see a wide spread smile on his smug face. I just want to punch it off him knowing that he has killed Dylan, Bailey, and Abby. I start feel tears fill up in my eyes when something shiny catches my eye. On the barbarien - at least that is what I think it is - is a belt. I follow the belt, and on the end is a sword. I don't want to, but if I am going to get out - alive that is - I must get that sword. When he turns away, I take a deep breath, and then sneak up to his belt.
I get up to his belt without notice, and I reach for the sword. As I make my move in taking out the weapon, the metal of the blade clinks with the holder. My blood turns into ice when I hear this noise. He lets out a questioned sound at this, and turns around. He sees me, and then looks to where my hand is. I start to pull my hand away when he grabs my arm. I try to tug it away, but he has a firm grip. A cry comes out of my mouth, and I knew that would cause big problems.
In one quick movement, the barbarien grabs my shoulder to hold me stil, and he pushes my arm until my shoulder pops. I try to hold my sream in, knowing the consequences, but I can't. I let it out, but before I can finish, he hurls his fist at me. It hits me hard in the face, and I fall limp to the ground. I spit out some blood, and I swear a few teeth, then try to get up. I start to push up, but he comes along and steps on my back. I hit his leg, and start to crawl over to the door. I some how get to the door, and I pull myself up.
Although I want to pull myself up fast, I can't. My body is too damaged to move fast. I jiggle the door knob, but it doesn't come open. I try a few more times, but soon give up. It is a fact that I will now die in this room. I let the tears come and sting my eyes as I fall to the edge of the door. I start to realize that the barbarien has stood up. His face is furious, and I can tell that there is no forgivness. The screech that woke me up comes out of his mouth, and I see him take the sword from the ground. Faster than any person could go, he comes strait at me with his sword. He gets to me in less than a second, and plunges his cool steel blade into my stomach.
