Chapter 2: Boarding The Bus

Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer were both running in the hallway, side by side. "We've got to hurry! We don't want to be late for this field trip!" Shouted Sunset.

They were both running fast in the empty hallway. Sci-Twi Sparkle was standing in the middle of the hallway, and her eyes grew big when she saw that they were coming towards her direction. "Oh no! AHHHH--"

It was too late since Sunset and Starlight had both accidentally bumped into her. Sci-Twi fell down on the floor. "Oof!"

Sunset and Starlight had both fallen down too. "Twilight!?" Sunset said.

"Oh, Twilight, I'm super sorry about that," Starlight got up and handed Sci-Twi a hand so that she can get up. "We totally didn't see you there! Heh-heh~" She giggled at the end. "Sometimes, I can accidentally be a little clumsy here and there." She waved both of her hands around in amusement. "But I don't really mean it--I didn't mean to..." She stumbled on her words. "To...UH--bump into you, that is!" She smiled sheepishly.

"Oh, Starlight. It's okay. There's no worries. I completely understand that you and Sunset bumping into me was an accident. And, not on purpose." Sci-Twi adjusted her black glasses to see more clearer in her vision.

"Yeah, Twilight and Starlight." Sunset said, crossing her arms. "Enough with the chit-chat already. Or else, we're all going to be late to our field trip to Crystal Prep, to attend the Crystal Fair."

"Ohhh. You're right!" Sci-Twi said. "but can you two just wait for like, a second?" She pointed her finger to them. "I'll make this quick. I have to grab Spike. Since I left him in my locker earlier, because I'm not allowed to bring pets to class."

"Uh, hello? Twilight?" Spike said to himself, while he was in the dark locker alone. "I hope you didn't forget about getting me. Because it's dark in here."

  The locker door suddenly opened. "Spike!"

"Twilight! Finally, you're back." Spike said. "I was starting to think you might of forgotten about me in here?"

"What? Of course not, Spike! I would never forget you." Sci-Twi petted Spike on his head. She then placed her opened backpack down on the floor and set it down. She put Spike in it. "Okay, now we have to hurry. Since we'll be going to this field trip to Crystal Prep." she picked up her backpack and put it on.

She then closed her locker door.
"Okay girls, let's go now." She looked back at Sunset and Starlight.

"Where are the girls?" Principal Celestia asked, being in front of the bus.

"Yes, they should be here, by now." Vice Principal Luna said. "Specifically at this time of hour."

"Oh, you're absolutely right! Vice Principal Luna!" Rarity had a nervous smile. "In fact, I'll go check up on them."

"If you do, you better make it quick." Pinkie Pie said in line.

"She's right. But I think Rainbow Dash should go look for them, since she runs faster than all of us." Fluttershy said. "I'll be heading into the bus now."

"Uh, good call, dear." Rarity said to Fluttershy. "I'll be going in with you, then." She then looked back at Rainbow Dash, who was behind her. "Rainbow! Please be a darling, and go look for our friends Sunset and Starlight. To see, what's keeping them up?"

Applejack poked her head through the opened bus door. "And Twilight! She's not here yet, either!"

"Alright. I'm on with it," Rainbow said to them. Just as she ran fast to the open doors of Canterlot High School, the doors opened to reveal Sci-Twi Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Sunset Shimmer. "Found them!" she shouted. "They're over here!"

"Rainbow?" Sci-Twi said.

"Oh sorry, everyone wanted me to look for all of you, since you guys still hadn't shown up."

"Yes? Well, we had a little mishap. Me and Starlight accidentally bumped into Twilight in the hall, while we were running in a rush. Then, we had to wait for Twilight to get Spike from her locker." Sunset said. "Though, now that we are all here. We can now start going to Crystal Prep."

"Of course, now let's get on with it! Already!" Rainbow grabbed Sunset and Starlight's hands. "We don't have enough time to lose! Twilight, hold onto my wrist. You better hold onto it, really tight."

"Oh, okay." Sci-Twi said, putting her purple hand over Rainbow's blue wrist.

"Now, hold on!" Rainbow's geode started glowing. She then sprinted to the bus, leaving behind her trailmark of a rainbow flash. They were all now in front of the bus outside, with the open doors. "We're here!"

"Woah, that was pretty fast, Dash," Starlight giggled.

"For real, now my hair is all floofy." Sci-Twi said. "I got to redo my hair." She took off her hairtie and redid her long straight-haired high ponytail.

Sunset and Starlight both started chuckling at her. "I understand with the wind being in your face and all, because Rainbow runs really fast with her geode." Sunset said. "I'm pretty sure that we are all the last students here. So, we should go ahead and go on the bus now."

She walked in the bus, followed by Rainbow, Sci-Twi, and Starlight.

"There you are, girls!" Vice Principal Luna said. "Just in time, since me and Celestia were just holding attendance, to make sure that everyone is here on the bus." She was holding a clipboard.

"Rainbow Dash is here?" Luna scribbled a check mark with her pen. "Twilight Sparkle. Sunset Shimmer. And, Starlight Glimmer." She said. "Twilight, I know that Spike is not a student. But, I'll be checking him on my attendance list. That way, we can remember that his presence is here on this field trip. Just like, we did at our trip to Camp Everfree. Does that sound good, with you?"

"Yes, it does. Thank you, Vice Principal Luna." Twilight went to take a seat next to Rainbow.

Principal Celestia was standing around. She pointed with her finger in the air, as she counted all the numbers of the students, who we're seated. She then looked back at Luna's list. "Well, sister. That looks like everyone is on board here."

"Yes. Yes, it does." Luna said. "Now we should take a seat." She and Celestia sat down together in a seat. "And get going to our destination, to Crystal Prep Academy!"
