So it's been a while lovelies...
I'm so sorry for the wait.
I completely lost motivation for both of my recent Ateez fics, but I'm definitely getting it back! So I hope you enjoy this chapter and I promise I'll try be more frequent with updates.
It was far too early in the morning when Yeosang was forced to awaken. He knew Seonghwa had speech therapy at sunset, but there were also a lot of witch customs to work through so he doesn't offend anyone by accident.
Seonghwa was still sleeping peacefully beside him.
With a hasty note scribbled on loose paper, Yeosang left to find Keeho.
The elder was sprawled out over his throne, clearly having passed out at some point during the night. He'd definitely sunburn if Yeosang didn't do something. But then again waking Keeho was always a risk, his pyrokinesis even more unpredictable when he was startled, or sleepy for that matter.
So Yeosang stood a good few metres away and started throwing small stones at Keeho.
The fifth stone to the forehead was the final straw, fire roaring to life in an angry splutter.
"Who the fuck- oh, morning Yeosang." Keeho stretched out, groaning as he stood. "What brings you here in the fuck-off hours of the morning?"
"I needed advice. And I never did tell you the story behind Seonghwa and I." It was impossible to miss the little sparkle of excitement in Keeho's eyes. He always did enjoy gossip, and drama for that matter.
"Well come along then! Let's have breakfast, shall we? It's been far too long." Keeho led them to the dining hall, which was surprisingly well built and tidy. Mainly because they barely used it unless they had important guests. "I'll just grab a random blood bag for you."
The moment Keeho left Yeosang's phone buzzed incessantly.
"Hello? Who is this?" He hadn't bothered to check the caller ID.
"Wooyoung you dumbass. I called to check in on you. Did you make it there ok?" Yeosang could also faintly hear San grumbling in the background. "And San wants to know how Yeonjun is."
"We're alright, and Seonghwa starts speech therapy today. Yeonjun is doing just fine, and I'm pretty sure his location is still a complete secret."
"That's great! How's Seonghwa adjusting to all that vamp stuff?" Keeho was returning with breakfast.
"He's adjusting really well, though I think P1-Hypen, the clan we're with, will take some getting used to." Keeho made a bunch of random hand gestures, that Yeosang wouldn't have understood if he didn't quickly read his mind. "I'm calling San's husband."
"Choi San got hitched!? And didn't invite me!?" Keeho fake fainted, over dramatic as always. "I'm hurt!"
"San told me to tell Keeho that he wanted our wedding to be a civilised event." Wooyoung said nervously. He was still completely unused to dealing with vampires, and Keeho was quite the... jarring person to deal with.
Keeho looked about to argue, yet froze. "No, he has a point."
"I'll call you back when Seonghwa's settled so you can catch up, but I have to speak with Keeho now. Goodbye for now." Yeosang waited for Wooyoung's farewell before hanging up. "Now, Seonghwa and I..."
Yeosang quickly explained their story, excluding Seonghwa's habit of thinking of Yeosang in inappropriate positions when they first met. Not for Seonghwa's dignity. No, this was for his own pride entirely.
