CHIKARA WAS HEADING TO THE Agency for another day's work. Dazai wasn't next to him when he woke up, so he only assumed that he was already at the Agency.

"Hello, everyone—" Chikara stopped mid-sentence when he saw the scene.

Dazai was dancing on the table and trying to trap Atsushi in his bandages while the poor teenager desparately tried to avoid him. Chikara sighed loudly in disappointment.

"Just one day... I just want one normal day at work." Chikara thought.

The red head caught sight of the half eaten mushroom on the desk next to them, then he understood that Dazai had attempted suicide once more. However, it seemed he failed once again.

Dazai grabbed Chikara's hand and tried to dance with him as Chikara grabbed ahold of the brunette's bicep in order to make sure he doesn't fall. He laughed as he spun Chikara around the room. Suddenly, the door of the Agency creaked open, revealing none other than Kunikida.

"Good morning."

Atsushi quickly raced over to him in panic. "Kunikida-san, please help us!" He pleaded.

"What's going on so early in the day?" Kunikida questioned.

"J-Just look at Dazai!" Atsushi panicked as he stepped aside. Kunikida looked and saw Dazai in all his crazed glory.

"Oh! Kunikida-kun, it's an emergency! Just look!" Dazai announced, holding his hands up as Atsushi pushes Kunikida closer to Dazai.

"Look at what?" Kunikida asked in confusion.

"At that!" Dazai replied, pointing up, as if something was above him, when there was nothing.

"I only see your idiot face!"

"I've finally arrived... in the afterlife! At Yomotsuhirasaka! It's exactly as I'd imagined!"

Kunikida turned to Chikara and Atsushi. "What's going on?" He muttered.

"Blue smoke trailing along the ground, moonlight dashing against the windows, and pink elephants dancing in the western sky!" Dazai ranted.

"Kunikida-san. I think this may explain it." Atsushi said, holding up a half-eaten mushroom and Dazai's suicide book.
