ADRIEN'S HEART POUNDED IN his chest, each beat echoing like a distant drum as Luka's melodious voice washed over him, soothing the turmoil boiling within.

Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine finding himself here, sitting atop the Eiffel Tower with a broken heart, and even more unexpectedly, in the company of Luka Couffaine.

Ladybug had just confessed her love for someone else, shattering the hope Adrien had clung to for so long. The words had been like daggers, piercing deep into his heart, and no matter how much he tried, he couldn't shake the painful truth.

She would never love him the way he loved her.

So, he ran-ran to the one place that had always brought him comfort: the Eiffel Tower. But when he arrived, he was startled to find Luka already there, seated on the ground with his back against the cold metal beams, quietly strumming his guitar.

"C-Chat?" Luka's voice was barely a whisper as he paused his playing, breaking the blond hero's trance.

Chat flinched at being caught off guard, like a child with his hand in the cookie jar. His glowing green eyes met Luka's, a flicker of vulnerability in them as he tried to steady his voice. "Y-Yes? Was... I bothering you?"

Luka chuckled softly, the sound warm and genuine, a stark contrast to the cold night air that kissed against the superhero's exposed skin.

"Of course not," Luka said, his voice laced with understanding. He studied the deflated hero before clearing his throat. "Is... everything okay?"

Adrien's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he forced a smile. "O-Of course I am..." he muttered, though his voice betrayed him. "Why'd you ask?"

Before he could answer, Luka was suddenly in front of him, close enough for Adrien to feel the warmth of his breath.

"Nah, I don't think you are," Luka said, his voice gentle but firm. "Right now, your heart sounds like this..." He adjusted his guitar, plucking out a slow, melancholic tune that seemed to resonate with Adrien's very soul.

Adrien stared at Luka, mesmerized, as if the music had cast a spell over him. The notes were soft, yet heavy with emotion, each one echoing the ache in his heart.

When Luka finished, he smiled, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes. "But your heart should sound like this."

Luka strummed again, this time a lively, upbeat melody that filled the night air with warmth and hope.

Adrien couldn't help but smile, a genuine smile that reached his eyes for the first time that night.

The music reminded him of the joy he used to feel playing his mother's piano, a joy that had been buried under layers of heartache and despair.

"So... is your lady friend not with you tonight?" Luka asked cautiously as he rested his guitar beside him and leaned on the railing next to Adrien.

Adrien's heart clenched at the mention of Ladybug. He nodded, trying to fight the tears that threatened to spill over. "She... she's not here tonight."

Luka sighed, propping his head on his hand. "Women... who really understands them?" He added with a dramatic sigh, causing Adrien's cat ears to perk up in curiosity.

Luka?

Was he having issues with a girl too?

Chat cleared his throat, "And you? What are you doing here all alone, weren't you with...what's her name?" He pretended, "Marinette?"
