The little ghost wasn't always a ghost. Once he was a boy. He was a nice boy with dark hair and red shoes. But he wasn't very loud or tenacious; he didn't have a defining quality like the other kids.
But he didn't care what people thought about him. As long as he was happy, he was okay. At least, thats how he saw it.
The little boy didn't have parents, but a nice family took him in. The family was big and very loud, and they loved him.
One day the boy started fading into the background. He was getting harder to see, or hear. One day he didn't want to be seen. So he wasn't. He was still there, just... Invisible.
A ghost.
