Walking home

Y/n walked along the stone path leading to her house. She was lost in thought about food that she did not notice she bumped into 9 people, 2 wearing kimonos and all of them wearing haoris.

She blinked and said, "Oh! I'm sorry! I did not see where i was going and was too engrossed in thought-" she blinked, and then she noticed them properly.

'That's weird' she thought, 'no one wears haoris or kimonos anymore unless there's an event or celebration...'

"Its quite alright" one of then said. The speaker had yellow flaming hair with orange tips, and orange eyes. He smiled at her.

'Definitely weird. What kind of person colors their hair like that???'

"By the way, we've got a question, what era and year is this???" One of them asked, she had short black hair with violet tips, a butterfly hairpin, and beautiful purple eyes.

"Oh? How do you not know???" Y/n asked with wide eyes, "How can you not know what year it is? Did you come from the jungle?" She asked with sarcasm
"Well, you can say it is the Modern era, and it is the year 2017."

She saw them exchange surprised glances, and sighed. How do these people not know, and why are they even surprised?

"Er... thanks for telling us..." the yellow haired guy mumbled.

A white haired guy with a diamond(?) band across his head and dark pink eyes looked at his friend beside him, who had a snake around his neck, black hair, a mask, and a white and black stripped haori.
