Elise POV

My little is sitting right in front of me and she is absolutely darling. She seems so shy and sweet, the shy part is a little upsetting because she wants to leave already. I'm hoping to win her over by the time her parents get here.

"Sweetie, do you want to watch some television while you wait for your parents?" I asked her softly and she had looked up from looking at her palms.

"Yes please." She said quietly and I stood up from my chair and walked around the desk. Holding my hand out to her she quickly latched on to it as I led us towards my couch. I stopped her in front and she sat down gently as I went to uncover the tv that is behind doors on the wall.

"That's so cool." I heard her say. I turned my head around and flashed her a smile.

"I wanted a television in here, but needed it to remain professional. I'm happy you approve." I told her and I couldn't help but notice the blush appearing on her cheeks. She must have not meant for me to hear that.

Scarlett excused herself to call my little's parents. Thinking about this I realized I had never even asked her her name.

"Sweetheart?" I asked as I turned on the television and she looked my direction. "What is your name?" I asked curiously.

"Uh my full name or just my first?" She asked seemingly nervous.

"Preferably the first, but whatever you'd like to give me." I told her curiously and she nodded. Scarlett wasn't going to have a problem looking her up because I'll just shoot her a text.

"It's Mason Elizabeth Russell." She told me shyly so I shot her a warm smile to hopefully ease her worry.

"That is a beautiful name. Can I ask why your parents chose the name Mason?" I asked her and she sort of blushed.

"They really liked the name for a boy and decided that it would be a strong and dominant name for a girl too. Guess that didn't really work out as planned." She said the last part quietly just as I sat down next to her.

I laid my hand to rest on her shoulder. "Sweetheart, being a little is not a punishment or means you are any less strong than your peers. It actually makes you so strong for acknowledging it and willing to let someone else help you." I tried to explain to her and she looked away with a little grin.

"What's that little grin for?" I asked her curiously and she started chuckling.

"I uh didn't really acknowledge or accept my results. My mom made me come here today, but I tried to escape. One of the guards saw me running and tackled me." She said laughing a bit, but I immediately grew anxious.

"Oh goodness, are you hurt? Which guard did this to you?" I quickly rushed off and she shook her head no.

"I'm fine, just a little sore. I think his name is Mason too. Once he got off of me he was actually a really chill dude." She said nonchalantly but I grew angry at my guard.

"That's not okay for him to do Mason. I'll be sure to talk to him." I told her reassuringly but she immediately looked worried.

"Please don't fire him. He's actually super nice. Gosh, I shouldn't have said anything." Mason groaned before going to smack herself in the forehead. I threw my hand in front of hers and stopped the smack to the head.

"I won't fire him if you do not hurt yourself. Understood?" She nodded her head and apologized. I quickly told her she didn't have to apologize, I just didn't want her getting hurt.

I turned on disney+ and she quickly asked to watch Coco. (pretend any movies from now aren't a thousand years old and actually new to this time period please.) So I flipped it to Coco and she was happy.

As the movie drug on, I could tell she was getting sleepy. I reached around the couch and grabbed a blanket, but I didn't have a pillow. "Sweetie, I only have a blanket. I can go grab a pillow if you want?" I semi asked her and she shook her head no.

"I cuddle wit you." she told me before leaning her body against mine. I cooed at the sight of her sleeping on me and carefully rested my back against the couch.

About half an hour later two adults who I assume are Masons parents, were entering the room with Scarlett leading them. They both smiled at the sight of their daughter cuddled in my arms.

"She doesn't trust people often enough to sleep in their arms." Her mother spoke quietly.

"She looks so peaceful." Her father spoke before introducing themselves. "Sorry I'm Isaiah Russell and this is my wife Ruth. We're Mason's parents." He spoke a little quieter seeing his sleeping daughter.

I smiled politely at them. "I'm Elise Huxley and the woman who led you here is my wife and bodyguard Scarlett Blake. It's a pleasure to meet both of you."

The woman smiled at me. "We know who you are, and we're very excited to know that our daughter will be under your care." Ruth told me and I smiled tightly.

"About that. Mason didn't seem too keen on being our little." I told them while gesturing towards Scar.

Ruth sighed slightly. "It's my fault honestly. I had all these expectations of her as a child to be strong and dominant like me, so when she found out she was a little...she thought less of herself."

My heart broke for the girl cuddled in my lap. Her mother seemed sincere in being upset about Masons perception of herself.

"It's not your fault Ruth. You didn't know." I told her truthfully.

She nodded solemnly as she sat in a chair across from me.

"I think it was actually easy for me to have her be a little. I always treated her as a strong woman, but she's still my baby." I smiled lightly at that as I saw Scar and Isaiah talking.

"I am going to try to convince her to stay with you and your wife for two weeks for her to test it. If she still doesn't like it, we'll just have to take it slower. But I think this will be really good for her." Ruth told me, causing me to tear up.

"You would do that for us?" I asked feeling my heart warm with happiness.

Ruth smiled at me as Isaiah came and joined her in the chair next to her. "Of course we would. Mason deserves to be happy. It may take her awhile to adjust, but I mean, you're the President and she'll learn to trust you both." Isaiah said with a slight chuckle.
